204th Transportation Company Concludes Final Battle Assembly of FY25

To close out Fiscal Year 2025, the Road Lions participated in a busy Battalion Field Training Exercise (FTX) focused on strengthening unit readiness. Soldiers attended the Mass Medical Readiness Event, conducted equipment reset, and completed supply inventory operations to ensure the formation remains fully prepared for future missions. Leaders used this opportunity to reset and posture the company for success in the upcoming fiscal year.

Additionally, 1SG Davila represented the 204th TC as a board member for the Battalion promotion board, reinforcing the unit’s commitment to Soldier development and professional growth. The company also welcomed CSM Colón, who visited to conduct a Noncommissioned Officer Development Program (NCODP) session, emphasizing the importance of leader development and continued professional growth.

On Friday, the 204th Transportation Company (Forward Detachment) had the honor of hosting Command Sergeant Major Smith from the 1st Mission Support Command. During the visit, the Road Lions demonstrated discipline, professionalism, and motivation, reflecting the values and leadership instilled within the formation.

Several Soldiers were recognized for their outstanding achievements:
• PFC Rivera was promoted and personally coined by CSM Smith for his rapid growth and potential as a future leader.
• SPC Lao and SPC Vega were also promoted, marking significant milestones in their careers.
• SPC Hernández was recognized as Soldier of the Week for his resilience and dedication, volunteering in multiple events and setting the example for his peers.
• SPC Mateo received a coin for his determination and commitment to personal growth, overcoming challenges and striving for success in both health and performance.

We are extremely proud of these Soldiers and their accomplishments. Their hard work and dedication embody the spirit of the Road Lions and the U.S. Army.

204th Forward Detachment Conducts HAZMAT 11 Training

From July through August 2025, Soldiers of the 204th Transportation Company (Forward Detachment) successfully completed Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) 11 training as part of their driver certification requirements.

This training equips Soldiers with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely handle and transport hazardous substances and sensitive equipment to various locations in support of mission requirements. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, Soldiers also received hands-on instruction on proper procedures and equipment use for responding to and extinguishing hazardous events.

Completing HAZMAT 11 is a significant step toward achieving ADR certification and enhancing the unit’s ability to provide mission-critical support to peers and partners in any operational environment.

During Caribbean Thunder 2025, the 204th Transportation Company received a special visit from Command Sergeant Major Colon, 77th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion.

CSM Colon met with Soldiers to ensure their well-being and recognize their hard work during the exercise. In a moment of distinguished recognition, he presented coins to Second Lieutenant Reyes and First Sergeant Davila for their exceptional dedication and leadership throughout Caribbean Thunder 2025.

The 204th Transportation Company is proud of its leaders and Soldiers who continue to demonstrate professionalism, commitment, and mission focus in every environment.

As Caribbean Thunder 2025 draws to a close, the Soldiers of the 204th Transportation Company regroup after successfully assisting in streamlining multiple operational events throughout the exercise at Camp Santiago, Puerto Rico.

Throughout the training, the Road Lions participated in cross-training opportunities and supported operations beyond the company’s traditional mission scope. These efforts enhanced operational efficiency, expanded individual skill sets, and strengthened overall unit readiness during this critical period.

The 204th Transportation Company remains committed to excellence and adaptability, ensuring mission success in any environment.
