Ante el volumen de llamadas y solicitudes de información que hemos recibido, considero importante aclarar algunos aspectos relacionados con la implementación del módulo de Finanzas del proyecto ERP (nueva plataforma financiera del Gobierno de Puerto Rico).
Toda implementación tecnológica de gran escala conlleva retos propios de los procesos de transición, configuración y adopción. En este momento, el módulo de Adquisiciones aún no ha sido implementado, por lo que el alcance de la Administración de Servicios Generales sobre las decisiones y configuraciones correspondientes al componente financiero es limitado.
No obstante, desde la ASG nos encontramos aportando alternativas y soluciones dirigidas a atender, en la medida posible, el impacto que determinadas configuraciones y decisiones, hechas por los implementadores del sistema, puedan tener sobre los suplidores que hacen negocios con el Gobierno de Puerto Rico.
La Oficina de Gerencia y Presupuesto (OGP) es la responsable de canalizar y atender cualquier asunto relacionado con la implementación y configuración del sistema.

Given the volume of calls and inquiries we have received, I would like to clarify a few important points regarding the implementation of the ERP Finance module.
Large-scale technology implementations inevitably involve challenges as organizations move through transition, system configuration, and adoption. At this stage, the Procurement module has not yet been implemented, which means that the Puerto Rico General Services Administration (ASG) has limited involvement in the decisions and configurations related to the financial component of the system.
That said, ASG is actively contributing recommendations and potential solutions to help mitigate, to the extent possible, the impact that certain system configurations and implementation decisions may have on vendors doing business with the Government of Puerto Rico.
The Puerto Rico Office of Management and Budget (OGP) is the agency responsible for overseeing and addressing matters related to the implementation and configuration of the ERP system.
