عن مدينة بيت لحم

تأسست بلدية بيت لحم عام 1872، وتُعد من أوئل البلديات التي تأسست في فلسطين. تُشرف البلدية على تقديم الخدمات والمشاريع التي من شأنها تطوير كافة نواحي الحياة في مدينة بيت لحم، مهد السيد المسيح.
تقع مدينة بيت لحم على مسافة 10 كيلومتر جنوب مدينة القدس، ويبلغ عدد سكانها ما يُقارب 30.000 نسمة. تُعتبر المركز الثقافي والسياحي في فلسطين خاصة لاحتضانها كنيسة المهد التي تم ادراجها على قائمة

التراث العالمي لدى منظمة الأمم المتحدة للتربية والعلم والثقافة – اليونسكو في حزيران من عام 2012. بالإضافة ذلك فإن في مدينة بيت لحم العديد من الكنائس والمواقع التاريخية والأثرية التي تعكس تراث المدينة وأصالته. About Bethlehem City

Bethlehem Municipality was established in 1872, and is one of the first Palestinian municipalities. It administrates providing services and projects to develop all aspects of life in Bethlehem; the Birthplace of Jesus Christ. Bethlehem is located about 10 km to the south of Jerusalem, with a population of approximately 30,000 inhabitants. It is the center of culture and tourism in Palestine, especially that it embraces that Church of the Nativity that was registered in the UNESCO World Heritage List in June, 2012. In addition to that, Bethlehem holds several churches, historic and archaeological sites that reflect the city’s tradition and authenticity.
