Based on 85 crew members and a group of volunteers, the NFD responds to emergency calls for firefighting and rescue missions inside the city of Nablus serving a population of more than 200 thousand people, as well as assisting the Palestinian Civil Defense in the province of Nablus. On the other hand, NFD offers training for schools, organizations and the public. Recently, and regarding our strate
gy, we are making progressive steps and best effort to follow the demand of our expanding city and the more sophisticated modern industrial, legitimate systems; and though, we have recruited emergency and disaster management specialists, fully computerized emergency response systems, as well as comprehensive emergency response plans on the city level, updated and scenario-based.
