عندما يعمل المستشفى تحت ضغط هائل، تصبح المياه النظيفة والمرافق الآمنة جزءًا أساسيًا من رعاية المرضى.
ضمن مشروع "الاستجابة الإنسانية الطارئة المشتركة في قطاع غزة"، نفّذت جمعية أصدقاء البيئة الفلسطينية، بالشراكة مع أوكسفام وبتمويل من التحالف الهولندي للإغاثة، أعمالًا لصيانة ثماني دورات مياه، وإصلاح شبكات المياه والصرف الصحي، واستبدال التجهيزات المتضررة، وتحسين تصريف مياه الأمطار في قسمي الولادة والأطفال والمستشفى الميداني داخل مجمع ناصر الطبي في خان يونس.
تسهم هذه التحسينات في الحد من مخاطر العدوى وتوفير بيئة أكثر أمانًا لأكثر من 4,500 شخص شهريًا، كما تساعد المجمع على مواصلة تقديم خدمات متخصصة لا تتوفر في أي مرفق آخر في المنطقة.
When a hospital is under immense pressure, clean water and safe, working facilities are essential to patient care.
Through the “DRA Gaza Joint Response 2025/2026” project, the Palestinian Friends of the Environment Association, in partnership with Oxfam and funded by the Dutch Relief Alliance, repaired eight washroom facilities, fixed damaged water and sewage lines, replaced essential fittings, and improved rainwater drainage in the maternity and paediatric wards and the field hospital at Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis.
These improvements reduce infection risks and provide safer conditions for more than 4,500 people each month, while helping Nasser Medical Complex continue delivering specialist care that is unavailable elsewhere in the area.

تواصل جمعية أصدقاء البيئة الفلسطينية تنفيذ نشاط إزالة وترحيل النفايات الصلبة في ثلاث مخيمات النزوح المستهدفة، وذلك بتمويل من الصندوق الإنساني للأرض الفلسطينية المحتلة، ضمن مشروع "تقديم خدمات المياه والصرف الصحي والنظافة بشكل آمن وعادل ومستدام للنازحين داخليًا والعائدين في قطاع غزة".
ويهدف النشاط إلى الحد من المخاطر الصحية والبيئية في المخيمات المستهدفة، من خلال جمع وترحيل ما يقارب 4 كوب من النفايات الصلبة يومياً ولمدة 120 يوماً متواصلة، بما يضمن استمرارية الخدمة وتحقيق أثر ملموس في تحسين مستوى النظافة العامة داخل المخيمين، ويساهم في تحسين الظروف الصحية والمعيشية لما مجموعه 3,333 نازح ونازحة من المستفيدين في المخيمات المستهدفة، والحد من انتشار الأمراض المرتبطة بتراكم النفايات، خاصة في ظل الاكتظاظ السكاني وضعف الخدمات الأساسية.
The Palestinian Environmental Friends Association (PEF) continues implementing a solid waste collection and transportation activity three targeted displacement camps. The activity is funded by the Occupied Palestinian Territory Humanitarian Fund (oPt HF) as part of the project, “Safe, equitable and sustained comprehensive WASH service delivery for IDPs and returnees in Gaza Strip”
The activity aims to reduce health and environmental risks in the targeted camps through the collection and transportation of approximately 4 cubic meters of solid waste daily over a continuous period of 120 days. This intervention is designed to ensure the continuity of essential waste management services and achieve a tangible improvement in overall cleanliness within the two camps.
The activity is expected to benefit a total of 3,333 internally displaced women, men, girls, and boys living in the targeted camps. It will contribute to improving public health and living conditions while helping to prevent the spread of diseases associated with waste accumulation, particularly in the context of overcrowding and limited access to basic services.

في إطار مشروع "تقديم خدمات المياه والصرف الصحي والنظافة بشكل آمن وعادل ومستدام للنازحين داخليًا والعائدين في قطاع غزة"، تواصل جمعية أصدقاء البيئة الفلسطينية تنفيذ نشاط توريد المياه الصالحة للشرب للنازحين المقيمين في المخيمات المؤقتة بمحافظة خانيونس، بتمويل من الصندوق الإنساني في الأرض الفلسطينية المحتلة (oPt HF).
ويستهدف النشاط خمس مخيمات للنزوح، حيث يتم توريد بمتوسط 45 كوباً من المياه الصالحة للشرب يوميًا على مدار 120 يومًا، بما يسهم في تلبية الاحتياجات اليومية للأسر النازحة وتعزيز وصولها إلى مياه شرب آمنة، في ظل الظروف الإنسانية الصعبة التي يشهدها قطاع غزة.
ومن المتوقع أن يستفيد من هذا النشاط 6720 نازحًا، بما يساهم في الحد من المخاطر الصحية المرتبطة بنقص المياه النظيفة، وتعزيز الصحة العامة والكرامة الإنسانية في مواقع النزوح.
As part of the project "Safe, equitable and sustained comprehensive WASH service delivery for IDPs and returnees in Gaza Strip" the Palestinian Environmental Friends Association (PEF) continues implementing activity of supplying safe drinking water to internally displaced persons residing in temporary displacement camps in Khan Younis Governorate, with funding from the Occupied Palestinian Territory Humanitarian Fund (oPt HF).

The activity targets five displacement camps, with an average of 45 cubic meters of safe drinking water are supplied daily over a period of 120 days. This intervention contributes to meeting the daily water needs of displaced families and improving their access to safe drinking water amid the severe humanitarian conditions in the Gaza Strip.

The activity is expected to benefit 6720 internally displaced people (IDPs), helping reduce health risks associated with the lack of safe drinking water while promoting public health and preserving human dignity in displacement sites.

تواصل جمعية أصدقاء البيئة الفلسطينية تنفيذ نشاط التثقيف الصحي في مخيمين نزوح جنوب قطاع غزة، ضمن مشروع "تقديم خدمات المياه والصرف الصحي لمخيمات النازحين – المرحلة الثانية عشر"، بتمويل من مؤسسة تحالف من أجل أطفال الشرق الأوسط MECA
ويستهدف النشاط نحو 8,400 فرد من الأسر النازحة على مدار 30 يومًا، من خلال جلسات توعوية تركز على النظافة الشخصية، وسلامة المياه، وإدارة النفايات الصلبة، والوقاية من الحشرات والقوارض.
وتنفذ الجلسات فرق متخصصة من المتطوعين باستخدام أساليب تفاعلية، بهدف تعزيز الوعي الصحي والحد من المخاطر والأمراض داخل مخيمات النزوح، في ظل الظروف الإنسانية والمعيشية الصعبة.

أنهت جمعية أصدقاء البيئة الفلسطينية تنفيذ مشروع تركيب 137 حمامًا عائليًا في مخيم الجزيرة في جنوب قطاع غزة، ضمن مشروع الاستجابة الطارئة السريعة للمياه والصرف الصحي للأسر النازحة في قطاع غزة"، بالشراكة مع مؤسسة إنقاذ الطفل وبدعم من الصندوق الإنساني للأرض الفلسطينية المحتلة (oPt HF).
واستفاد من المشروع نحو 1,800 نازح، بهدف تحسين خدمات الصرف الصحي وتعزيز الظروف الصحية والإنسانية داخل المخيم، في ظل الأوضاع الإنسانية الصعبة التي يشهدها القطاع.
وأكدت الجمعية أن هذا التدخل يأتي ضمن جهودها المستمرة في قطاع المياه والإصحاح البيئي، لتخفيف معاناة الأسر النازحة وتحسين بيئة المعيشة، معربة عن شكرها للجهات الداعمة على مساهمتها في تنفيذ هذا المشروع الإنساني.
The Palestinian Environmental Friends Association (PEF) has completed the installation of 137 family latrines at Al-Jazeera Camp in the southern Gaza Strip as part of the "Rapid Emergency WASH Response for Displaced Families in the Gaza Strip" project. The initiative was implemented in partnership with Save the Children and funded by the Occupied Palestinian Territory Humanitarian Fund (oPt HF).
The project benefited approximately 1,800 displaced people, aiming to improve sanitation services and enhance health and humanitarian conditions within the camp amid the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip.
The Association affirmed that this intervention is part of its continued efforts in the water, sanitation, and environmental health sector to alleviate the suffering of displaced families and improve living conditions. It also expressed its appreciation to the supporting partners for their contribution to the successful implementation of this humanitarian project.
