🇵🇸🇰🇷 تعزيز مستقبل الذكاء الاصطناعي في فلسطين

تواصل الوكالة الكورية للتعاون الدولي (كويكا)، بالتعاون مع شريكها الكوري جامعة كومن، دعم جهود إنشاء المركز الوطني للذكاء الاصطناعي والتقنيات الناشئة في فلسطين.

وخلال الزيارة الأخيرة، ناقش الجانبان الخطوات القادمة لتنفيذ المشروع، بما يشمل برامج بناء القدرات في مجال الذكاء الاصطناعي، ومنح الدكتوراه، وتجهيز البنية التحتية للمركز، والخبرات التقنية المطلوبة.
كما اختُتمت الزيارة بلقاء معالي وزير التربية والتعليم العالي د. أمجد برهم، حيث تم بحث مستجدات تنفيذ المشروع وخطط المرحلة المقبلة.

ومن خلال التعاون الكوري–الفلسطيني، تواصل كويكا التزامها بدعم الابتكار، وتمكين الكفاءات الفلسطينية، وتعزيز القدرات الوطنية في مجال التقنيات الناشئة نحو مستقبل رقمي مستدام. 🤝💡

Strengthening Palestine’s Future in Artificial Intelligence 🇵🇸🇰🇷

KOICA, together with its Korean partner Kookmin University, continues its support for the establishment of the National Center for Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technologies in Palestine.

During the recent visit, discussions focused on the next phase of project implementation, including AI capacity-building programs, PhD scholarships, infrastructure preparation, and the technical expertise plan.
The visit concluded with a meeting with H.E. Dr. Amjad Barham, Minister of Education and Higher Education, during which the latest project updates and plans for the upcoming phase were discussed.

Through Korea–Palestine cooperation, KOICA is committed to supporting innovation, empowering Palestinian talents, and building capabilities in emerging technologies for a digital future. 🤝💡

نقش "طريق كوريا" على مسار تعافي فلسطين، نهوضاً من رحم الصراع.

وقّعت الحكومة الفلسطينية والوكالة الكورية للتعاون الدولي (KOICA) اتفاقيتين استراتيجيتين بقيمة إجمالية تبلغ 21 مليون دولار أميركي لتنفيذ مشروع مركز بيت لحم لريادة الأعمال ومشروع بناء القدرات في الاستجابة للأزمات والكوارث لصالح جهاز الدفاع المدني الفلسطيني.
ويشكّل توقيع الاتفاقيتين محطة مهمة في مسيرة الشراكة الفلسطينية الكورية، حيث يدعمان الابتكار وريادة الأعمال والتنمية الاقتصادية المستدامة، إلى جانب تعزيز جاهزية المؤسسات الوطنية للاستجابة للطوارئ والأزمات.
وعقب مراسم التوقيع، أُزيح الستار عن لوحة حجر الأساس لمشروع مركز بيت لحم لريادة الأعمال إيذانًا ببدء مرحلة التنفيذ، كما أُزيح الستار عن لوحة اسم "شارع كوريا" الذي أطلقته بلدية بيت لحم تقديرًا لجمهورية كوريا وشراكتها الاستراتيجية ودعمها المتواصل للمشاريع التنموية في فلسطين
وسيسهم مشروع مركز بيت لحم لريادة الأعمال في دعم رواد الأعمال والشركات الناشئة، وتعزيز بيئة الابتكار، وخلق فرص جديدة للشباب الفلسطيني، فيما يهدف مشروع تعزيز قدرات الدفاع المدني إلى تطوير البنية التحتية، وتوفير المعدات المتخصصة، وتنفيذ برامج تدريبية لرفع كفاءة الاستجابة للأزمات والكوارث.
واختُتمت مراسم التوقيع بمعرض للصور واللوحات التي استعرضت أبرز المشاريع التي نفذتها الوكالة الكورية للتعاون الدولي (KOICA) في فلسطين، إلى جانب عروض ثقافية شملت عرضًا موسيقيًا وعرضًا لرياضة التايكواندو، في تجسيد للبعد الثقافي الذي يرافق الشراكة المتنامية بين فلسطين وجمهورية كوريا.
ويعكس المشروعان عمق الشراكة بين فلسطين وجمهورية كوريا، والالتزام المشترك بتمكين الإنسان، ودعم التنمية المستدامة، وبناء مستقبل أكثر صمودًا وازدهارًا لفلسطين.

Engraving the 'Korea Road' on Palestine’s Path to Recovery, Rising Above Conflict

The Palestinian Authority and the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) have signed two strategic Record of Discussions worth US$21 million to implement the Bethlehem Entrepreneurship Center Project and the Capacity Building for Crisis and Disaster Response Project for the Palestinian Civil Defense.
Signed in Bethlehem Municipality, the agreements mark a significant milestone in Palestinian-Korean cooperation, supporting innovation, entrepreneurship, sustainable economic development, and enhancing national institutions’ preparedness to respond to emergencies.
The Bethlehem Entrepreneurship Center will provide a platform to support entrepreneurs and start-ups, foster innovation, and create new opportunities for Palestinian youth, while the Civil Defense project will strengthen emergency response capabilities through improved infrastructure, specialized equipment, training, and capacity building.
Following the signing ceremony, the official delegation unveiled the foundation stone of the Bethlehem Entrepreneurship Center Project, marking the start of its implementation phase. The delegation also unveiled the sign for “Korea Street,” named by the Bethlehem Municipality in recognition of the Republic of Korea’s strategic partnership and continued support for development projects in Palestine.
The signing ceremony concluded with an exhibition of photographs and displays showcasing some of the most prominent projects implemented by KOICA in Palestine over the past years. The event also featured cultural performances, including a musical performance and a Taekwondo demonstration, highlighting the cultural dimension of the growing partnership between Palestine and the Republic of Korea.
The projects reflect the strong partnership between Palestine and the Republic of Korea and a shared commitment to empowering people, supporting sustainable development, and building a more resilient future for Palestine.

انجاز جديد لمسيرة في فلسطين 🇵🇸🗜
☑️ اليوم ... تسلّمت الوزارة مدرسة #يطا المهنية المختلطة، بمنحة كريمة من الحكومة الكورية عبر الوكالة الكورية للتعاون الدولي ( )، بلغت 7 ملايين دولار.
💡تفتح المدرسة آفاقاً جديدة أمام الطلبة من خلال 6 تخصصات مهنية نوعية 🏗️ إذ صُممت وفق معايير البناء الأخضر المستدام، لتوفر بيئة تعليمية حديثة تستوعب نحو 210 من الطلبة، وترفدهم بمهارات تلبي احتياجات سوق العمل وتسهم في دعم الاقتصاد الوطني

إعلان فتح باب التقديم لبرنامج منح كويكا لعام 2027
يسر الوكالة الكورية للتعاون الدولي (KOICA) الإعلان عن فتح باب التقديم لبرنامج المنح الدراسية لعام 2027.
يهدف هذا البرنامج الممول من حكومة جمهورية كوريا إلى إعداد قادة مستقبليين قادرين على المساهمة في التنمية الاجتماعية والاقتصادية في بلدانهم لذلك ندعو المرشحين الفلسطينيين المؤهلين للتقدم والاستفادة من هذه الفرصة القيّمة.
معايير الأهلية:
-الجنسية: يجب أن يكون المتقدم حاملا للجنسية الفلسطينية.
-العمر: يفضل أن يكون عمر المتقدم أقل من 40 عاما.
-المؤهل العلمي: يجب أن يكون المتقدم حاصلا على درجة البكالوريوس من مؤسسة معترف بها، ولبرامج الدكتوراة يشترط الحصول على درجة الماجستير.
-جهة العمل: يجب أن يكون المتقدم موظفا حكوميا أو عضوا في الهيئة التدريسية الإدارية في المؤسسات العامة.
-اللغة الإنجليزية: يجب أن يمتلك المتقدم مستوى جيدا جدا في اللغة الإنجليزية.
-الحالة الصحية: يجب أن يكون المتقدم بصحة جيدا جسديا ونفسيا.

Call for Applications: 2027 KOICA Scholarship Program
The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) Scholarship Program is pleased to announce the opening of its 2027 application cycle. This program, funded by the Government of the Republic of Korea, aims to nurture future leaders who can contribute to the socio-economic development of their home countries. Eligible Palestinian candidates are encouraged to apply for this valuable opportunity.
Eligibility Criteria:
• Citizenship: Applicants must be Palestinian citizens
• Age: Preferably under 40 years old
• Education: Must hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution; for doctoral applicants, a Master’s degree is required
• Employment: Must be a government employee or faculty/staff member of public institutions
• English Proficiency: Must have a strong command of English
• Health: Must be in good physical and mental health

نفذت جمعية الجديرة للتنمية والتطوير، بالتعاون مع رابطة خريجي كويكا في فلسطين (KAAP)، وبدعم كريم من شركة الحاج نمر التميمي للتجارة والنقل، مبادرة “كسوة عيد الأضحى المبارك”، والتي شملت توزيع أكثر من 208 بنطلون جينز بناتي، وذلك في مقر الجمعية.
وتأتي هذه المبادرة ضمن الجهود المجتمعية الهادفة إلى تعزيز قيم التكافل والتضامن الاجتماعي، والمساهمة في التخفيف عن الأسر المستفيدة وإدخال الفرحة على الأطفال مع اقتراب عيد الأضحى المبارك.

Al-Jdeira Association for Development and Empowerment, in cooperation with the KOICA Alumni Association in Palestine (KAAP) and with the generous support of Haj Nimr Tamimi Trading & Transport Company, implemented the “Eid Al-Adha Clothing Campaign,” which included the distribution of more than 208 girls’ denim jeans at the association’s headquarters.
This initiative comes within the framework of community efforts aimed at strengthening the values of solidarity and social cohesion, while helping ease the burden on beneficiary families and bringing joy to children ahead of the blessed Eid Al-Adha holiday.

بير نبالا - ضواحي القدس
نفّذت وزارة النقل والمواصلات الفلسطينية، بالشراكة مع رابطة خريجي كويكا في فلسطين (KAAP) وبدعم من الوكالة الكورية للتعاون الدولي (KOICA)، فعالية توعوية متخصصة حول السلامة المرورية في مدرسة شذا الورد الأساسية في بلدة بير نبالا – ضواحي القدس، وذلك ضمن مبادرة “التوعية المرورية مسؤولية الجميع” الهادفة إلى تعزيز ثقافة السلامة المرورية لدى طلبة المدارس والمجتمع المحلي.
The Palestinian Ministry of Transport and Communications, in partnership with the KOICA Alumni Association in Palestine (KAAP) and with the support of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), implemented a road safety awareness activity at Shaza Al Ward Basic School in the town of Bir Nabala – Jerusalem Suburbs, as part of the “Road Safety Awareness is Everyone’s Responsibility” initiative aimed at promoting traffic safety culture among school students and the local community.

زار المدير القطري لمكتب كويكا في فلسطين، الدكتور هيونجو جو مركز قلنديا للتدريب المهني لمتابعة تنفيذ مشروع "تمكين الشباب اللاجئين الفلسطينيين، بمن فيهم الأشخاص ذوو الإعاقة، من خلال التدريب المهني والتقني (2024-2026 / 7.6 مليون دولار)." وخلال الزيارة، اطّلع على أعمال التطوير والتحسين التي شملت مختبر الطاقة الشمسية، وورشة الإرشاد المهني، والمطابخ، وسكن الطلبة، كما استمع إلى طموحات طلبة الأونروا والتحديات التي يواجهونها في مسيرتهم التعليمية. كما ناقش السيد معاوية أعمر رئيس برنامج التعليم في الميدان، مع د. جو الصعوبات العملية التي تواجهها وكالة غوث اللاجئين حالياً، حيث أكدت كويكا التزامها بمواصلة دعم التنفيذ السلس للمشروع. ومن خلال توفير فرص التدريب المهني والتقني، تواصل كويكا دعم الاعتماد على الذات وتعزيز الفرص المستقبلية للشباب اللاجئين الفلسطينيين في الضفة الغربية.

KOICA Country Director, Dr. Hyungue Joe, visited the KTC (Kalandiya Training Center) to monitor the implementation of "Empowering Palestine Refugee Youth, Including Persons with
Disabilities through Vocational and Techinical Training(2024-2026/7.6M).” During the visit, he reviewed the improvements made to the solar energy lab, career guidance workshop, kitchens, and dormitories, and also listened to the aspirations of UNRWA students as well as the challenges they face in pursuing their studies.

Mr. Muaweyah Amar, Chief Field Education Programme, discussed with KOICA the practical difficulties currently faced by UNRWA, and KOICA reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring the smooth implementation of the project moving forward. Through the provision of vocational and technical training opportunities, KOICA continues to support the self-reliance and future livelihoods of Palestine refugee youth in the West Bank.

التقى مدير مكتب كويكا في فلسطين، الدكتور هيونجو جو، في لقاءات رسمية منفصلة خلال الأسبوع الماضي والأسبوع الحالي، بكل من مدير عام الدفاع المدني اللواء الركن أكرم ثوابته ومعالي وزير المالية والتخطيط، الدكتور إسطفان سلامة. وخلال اللقاء مع الدفاع المدني، تم بحث المشروع المتوقع توقيعه خلال عام 2026 لتعزيز قدرات الدفاع المدني الفلسطيني، فيما تم خلال اللقاء مع معالي وزير المالية والتخطيط بحث الدعم المقدم من حكومة جمهورية كوريا من خلال كويكا للحكومة الفلسطينية.

Country Director of KOICA Palestine Office, Dr. Hyungue Joe, held separate official meetings during the past and current week with Major General Akram Thawabta, Director General of the Civil Defense, and H.E. Dr. Estephan Salameh, Minister of Finance and Planning. During the meeting with the Civil Defense, discussions focused on the project expected to be signed in 2026 to enhance the capacities of the Palestinian Civil Defense. In the meeting with the Minister of Finance and Planning, discussions addressed the support provided by the Government of the Republic of Korea through KOICA to the Palestinian Government.
