Seit 2004 bilden Goethe-Institut und Institut français in Ramallah das Deutsch-Französische-Kulturinstitut. Die Zusammenarbeit geht dabei weit über eine gemeinsame Unterbringung hinaus und hat sich über die Jahre zu dem bi-nationalen Kulturinstitut mit dem weltweit höchsten Integrationsgrad entwickelt. Herzstück des gemeinsamen Kulturinstituts ist unsere Mediathek. Hier finden sich Informationen zu aktuellen Aspekten des kulturellen, gesellschaftlichen und politischen Lebens in Deutschland und Frankreich sowie Informationen über Europa. Unsere Bibliothek bietet Bücher, Zeitschriften, Filme und Musik für Erwachsene, Jugendliche und Kinder auf Arabisch, Französisch und Deutsch. Außerdem können iPads, Computer sowie die Videospielecke mit einer Xbox One, Oculus und Computerspielen genutzte werden. The cooperation goes far beyond a shared accomodation and has developed over the years to the bi-national cultural institute with the highest degree of integration worldwide. The heart of the joint cultural center is our media library. Here you will find information on current aspects of cultural, social and political life in Germany and France as well as information about Europe. Our library offers books, magazines, movies and music for adults, teenagers and children in Arabic, French and German. In addition, iPads, computers and the video game corner can be used with an Xbox One, Oculus and computer games.
