The Bureau is a key official control institution in the State of Palestine and a basic foundation of the national integrity system. The Bureau has the independent legal personality and full legal capacity to undertake actions entrusted as per law. The Bureau is the supreme audit institution of Palestine and a member to the Arab Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ARABOSAI). The Bureau is seeking membership of International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI).
