Apart from being a fabulous location to get off the grid and relax for a holiday, the mill is also the beginning of an experimental eco living project. The physical basics are that power is solar and wind based, water is a managed and a multi-use limited resource, which includes a swimming pool that is a glorious balanced chemical free bio-ecosystem. Ideologically living in a more connected way, w

here choice has clear consequence, is our aim. One of our goals is to incorporate game mechanics into monitoring the eco-effectiveness of daily living and to give an eco-prize. We are some time off completing this but please do watch this space.
