Apiário Margaridas is an educational apiary where we take visitors to dress up as beekeepers and have an immersive experience with our bees.

We produce different types of raw honey from the Azores.

Sharing knowledge with students and showing them what we do at the Apiário Margaridas is one of our missions!!!
As part of the Blue Flag Programme, .delgada Town Council brought a group of 8 grade pupils to the Apiário Margaridas!
We planted firetrees, observed the bees going about their daily lives and even tasted different types of honey!
Thank you for coming to find out about our regeneration project.

It was an afternoon of sharing, planting and learning about bees!

The last 3 beehives are already in the Laurissilva forest!
This time it was Euricas, Tânias and Chiaras!
We are curious to know what they will collect and how the honey is.
With the help of SPEA Açores and CIIMAR we will discover!!!

DOMINGO – MUNDO NO FEMININO – na RDP-A, Antena 1, pelas 20h00, desta feita Carolina Ferraz, do Apiário Margaridas, a mulher, a mãe, a empreendedora de apicultura e do apiturismo sustentável.
Em 2023, fundou o Apiário Margaridas, aliando a produção de mel à educação ambiental e biodiversidade local.
Vamos ouvir – aprendermos, como a apicultura, com 1 milhão e 500 mil abelhas – Rainha, Obreiras e Zangões – a natureza e as abelhas podem ser um trio sustentável e cooperante entre si.
