The third edition of Fire Department Strategic Planning is well on its way. It will have 20 chapters and I finished chapter 19 yesterday. 19 and 20 are new chapters. Still waiting for a couple reference approvals. Then I need to update the workbook and create an Instructor Guide. With luck it could be available at FDIC 2020.

I proposed doing a third edition to Pennwell Publishing with 30-35 % new or updated information and with the edition of an Instructor's Manual and test question bank a year ago and I am still waiting for a response. So, the third edition is on hold. I have written numerous articles for Fire Engineering since the second edition was published. My current project is a Fiction Novel about Fire Investigation.
