M.E.S. Indian School Evening Shift Pays Tribute to Its Dedicated Teachers

M.E.S. Indian School (Evening Shift) celebrated Teachers’ Day on 3 September 2026 with a special programme held at the KG Hall to honour and appreciate the dedication and valuable contributions of its teachers. The programme was attended by Dr. Hameeda Kadar, Principal, Mr. Shihabudeen Pulath, Senior Vice Principal, and Mrs. Sameena Ashfaq, Headmistress. The Principal addressed the gathering and highlighted the significant role of teachers in shaping young minds and nurturing future generations.

As part of the celebrations, the Scout & Guides Unit of M.E.S. Indian School – Evening Shift organised a special segment to honour the dedicated KG teachers for their valuable contributions and commitment towards the students. Students presented special programmes in honour of their teachers, expressing their gratitude and appreciation for their guidance and care.

Tokens of Love were presented to the Principal, Senior Vice Principal and Headmistress by the students as a gesture of appreciation and respect. A Lucky Draw added excitement to the celebrations, with the winners being honoured with prizes by the Principal. The programme concluded on a joyful note, reflecting the school community’s heartfelt gratitude to its dedicated teaching fraternity.

Aamil Kallingalakath K. of Grade I - F has earned the prestigious title of IBR Achiever for answering an impressive 202 General Knowledge questions in just 12 minutes and 36 seconds.

At the remarkable age of 6 years and 6 months, Aamil demonstrated exceptional memory, knowledge, confidence, and presence of mind. His achievement was officially confirmed on 22 July 2026, making this a proud and inspiring milestone in his young journey.

M.E.S REOPENS WITH RENEWED ENTHUSIASM AND FRESH ACADEMIC ASPIRATIONS

Following the summer vacation, M.E.S. Indian School reopened on Sunday, August 30, 2026, welcoming students back to the campus with renewed enthusiasm and anticipation for the new academic term.

The reopening marked a cheerful homecoming for students, as the school embarked on another session of learning, growth and new opportunities. At this juncture, the school management, the Principal and the staff extended a warm welcome to students, while acknowledging the continued support and partnership of parents in fostering a positive and encouraging learning environment.

Welcoming the students, Dr Hameeda Kadar, Principal of M.E.S. Indian School, said that the new academic year would focus on providing students with meaningful opportunities to develop their talents and realize their potential. The academic calendar will feature a diverse range of activities, including subject-enrichment programmes, inter-school competitions, cultural events and sports events, alongside regular academic pursuits, with an emphasis on holistic development.

As part of the preparations for the new academic session, tshe school also conducted a week-long teachers’ orientation programme equipping them with updated knowledge, innovative teaching strategies and resources to enhance classroom practices and ensure the delivery of quality education. With renewed energy and purposeful planning, M.E.S. Indian School looks forward to a productive and enriching academic year, inspiring every student to learn, explore and excel.
