LOOK: The Philippine delegation to the 114th Session of the International Labor Conference in Geneva, led by Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) Undersecretary Jainal T. Rasul Jr., met with Sheikha Najwa bint Abdulrahman Al Thani, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Labor (MOL) of the State of Qatar, on the sidelines of the event on 05 June 2026.

The two sides exchanged views on issues of mutual concern, including enhancing cooperation in the field of labor.

HE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi received a phone call on Saturday from HE Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Philippines Maria Theresa P. Lazaro.

During the call, they discussed bilateral cooperation between the two countries and ways to strengthen and enhance those ties, in addition to several issues of mutual interest.
