Public Works Authority - هيئة الأشغال العامة

تم إنشاء هيئة الأشغال العامة "أشغال" في عام 2004 لتشرف على عملية التخطيط، والتصميم، والبناء، وإدارة الأصول لجميع مشاريع البنية التحتية والمباني والمرافق العامة في قطر. وتشمل مهام "أشغال" الأساسية الإشراف على تصميم وإنشاء وإدارة مشاريع كبرى للطرق والصرف الصحي والمباني العامة من مدارس ومستشفيات ومبان حكومية وغيرها.

وتشكل الهيئة داعماً أساسياً لعملية التنمية الاقتصادية والاجتماعية لتحقيق رؤية قطر 20

30، حيث يبلغ حجم المشاريع التي تقوم الهيئة بتنفيذها خلال الخمس إلى السبع سنوات القادمة ما تتجاوز قيمته 100 مليار ريال قطري.

وتتبع أشغال استراتيجية تهدف إلى تسليم مشاريع حديثة وفق المستويات العالمية، وباعتماد أفضل الممارسات في مجال تطوير وإدارة البنية التحتية. كما تتبع نموذجاً قوياً للتعهيد على الصعيد الاستراتيجي، إضافة إلى الشراكة مع أفضل الشركات العالمية التي تمتلك الإمكانات والخبرات الكبيرة وذلك بهدف أن تصبح قطر في مصاف أكثر الدول تطوراً ونمواً في العالم. The Public Works Authority 'Ashghal' was established in 2004 to be responsible for the planning, design, procurement, construction, delivery, and asset management of all infrastructure projects and public buildings in Qatar. Ashghal’s key responsibilities include governing the design, construction, and management of major projects including roads, drainage and buildings such as public buildings, schools and hospitals. Adhering to the Qatar National Vision 2030, the Authority contributes to the economic and social development of the State of Qatar, with projects valued at over QR 100 billion to be delivered within the next five to seven years. Ashghal has employed a powerful model of strategic outsourcing and partnership with world leading establishments that will bring capacity and capabilities to ensure Qatar rates at par with the most developed nations in the world in the field of infrastructure.
