فوز دولة قطر بعضوية المجلس التنفيذي واللجان الفنية للمنظمة العربية للطيران المدني
شاركت دولة قطر، ممثلة بالهيئة العامة للطيران المدني، في أعمال الاجتماع الرابع والسبعين للمجلس التنفيذي والدورة التاسعة والعشرين للجمعية العامة للمنظمة العربية للطيران المدني، اللذين عُقدا يومي 29 و30 يونيو 2026 بمدينة الرباط في المملكة المغربية.
وترأس وفد دولة قطر السيد محمد بن فالح الهاجري، المكلف بتسيير أعمال الهيئة العامة للطيران المدني.
وشهدت أعمال الجمعية العامة فوز دولة قطر بعضوية المجلس التنفيذي للمنظمة العربية للطيران المدني، كما حصلت على عضوية اللجان الفنية التالية: لجنة النقل الجوي، ولجنة البيئة، ولجنة الإعلام والاتصال المؤسسي، ولجنة الرقابة المالية والإدارية، في تأكيد جديد على الثقة التي تحظى بها دولة قطر بين الدول الأعضاء، ودورها الفاعل في دعم العمل العربي المشترك وتعزيز التعاون وتطوير قطاع الطيران المدني العربي.
كما أقرت الجمعية العامة رئاسة دولة قطر، ممثلة بالسيد محمد بن فالح الهاجري، للجنة الموارد المالية والبشرية التابعة للمنظمة العربية للطيران المدني، بما يعكس المكانة المرموقة التي تتمتع بها دولة قطر وتقدير الدول لقدراتها وكفاءتها في دعم أعمال المنظمة والإسهام في تطوير أدائها المؤسسي.
وخلال مشاركته، ثمّن السيد محمد بن فالح الهاجري الجهود التي بُذلت خلال الفترة الماضية في إدارة أعمال المجلس، وما تحقق من إنجازات أسهمت في دعم مسيرة المنظمة وتعزيز دورها في تطوير قطاع الطيران المدني العربي، مؤكداً أن الاجتماع يمثل محطة مهمة لتعزيز التعاون والتنسيق العربي المشترك في ظل التحديات التي يشهدها القطاع، والعمل على تطوير المنظومات التشغيلية والتقنية والتشريعية بما يضمن أعلى معايير السلامة والأمن والكفاءة في قطاع الطيران المدني. كما جدد التزام دولة قطر بدعم جهود المنظمة ومساندة كل ما من شأنه تحقيق أهدافها وتعزيز التعاون وتبادل الخبرات بين الدول الأعضاء.
وناقشت أعمال المجلس التنفيذي والجمعية العامة عدداً من الموضوعات المتعلقة بسلامة وأمن الطيران، وتطوير البنية التحتية، والقضايا البيئية، وتبني الابتكار والتحول الرقمي، إلى جانب آليات تعزيز التعاون بين الدول العربية واستعراض سبل تنفيذ الأهداف الاستراتيجية للمنظمة، بما يسهم في تطوير العمل العربي المشترك والارتقاء بقطاع النقل الجوي العربي.

Qatar Elected to ACAO Executive Council and Committees
The State of Qatar, represented by the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA), participated in the 74th Executive Council Meeting and the 29th General Assembly of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization (ACAO), held on 29 and 30 June 2026 in Rabat, Kingdom of Morocco.
The Qatari delegation was headed by Mr. Mohamed bin Faleh Al-Hajri, In Charge of Managing QCAA.
During the General Assembly, the State of Qatar was elected to the Executive Council of ACAO. It also secured membership on the following technical committees: the Air Transport Committee, the Environment Committee, the Media and Corporate Communication Committee, and the Financial and Administrative Oversight Committee. This achievement reflects the confidence enjoyed by the State of Qatar among the member states and its active role in supporting joint Arab cooperation and advancing the Arab civil aviation sector.
The General Assembly also approved the appointment of the State of Qatar, represented by Mr. Mohamed bin Faleh Al-Hajri, as Chair of ACAO’s Financial and Human Resources Committee. This appointment reflects Qatar’s distinguished standing and the member states’ recognition of its capabilities and expertise in supporting the Organization’s work and contributing to the enhancement of its institutional performance.
During the meeting, Mr. Al-Hajri commended the efforts made over the past period in managing the Executive Council’s work and the achievements that have contributed to advancing the Organization’s mission and strengthening its role in the development of the Arab civil aviation sector. He emphasized that the meeting represents an important opportunity to enhance joint Arab cooperation and coordination in light of the challenges facing the sector, while continuing to develop operational, technical, and legislative frameworks to ensure the highest standards of safety, security, and efficiency in civil aviation. He also reaffirmed the State of Qatar’s commitment to supporting ACAO’s efforts and all initiatives aimed at achieving its objectives and strengthening cooperation and the exchange of expertise among member states.
The Executive Council Meeting and General Assembly also discussed a number of topics related to aviation safety and security, infrastructure development, environmental issues, innovation and digital transformation, as well as mechanisms for strengthening cooperation among Arab states and reviewing ways to implement the Organization’s strategic objectives, thereby contributing to the advancement of joint Arab action and the continued development of the Arab air transport sector.
