منذ أن رحل صاحب السمو الأمير الوالد الشيخ حمد بن خليفة آل ثاني، رحمه الله، بقي أثره حاضراً في كل زاوية من قطر؛ في نهضتها، ومؤسساتها، ومكانتها، وفي ذاكرة شعبٍ لم ينسَ قائده.

لم يكن ما تحقق في عهده مجرد مشروعاتٍ وإنجازات، بل كان تحولاً شاملاً نقل قطر إلى مرحلة جديدة، وصنع لوطنها مكانةً تجاوزت حدود الجغرافيا.
