The Embassy of Canada to the State of Qatar was honoured to work closely with and support a delegation of officers from the Ministry of Interior of the State of Qatar in their participation at hashtag 2026, Canada's premier defence and security exhibition, held in Ottawa on May 27–28, 2026.
This participation provided a valuable opportunity for the Ministry's esteemed delegation to explore leading Canadian defence and security technologies and solutions, while engaging directly with a number of Canada's foremost companies operating in these strategic sectors.
The Embassy of Canada takes this opportunity to express its sincere appreciation to H.E. Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad Al Thani, Minister of Interior, for his support of this initiative, which aims to strengthen the longstanding friendship and cooperation between Canada and Qatar and to advance bilateral partnerships in the fields of cybersecurity, border protection, critical infrastructure security, and coastal and border security.

تشرفت سفارة كندا لدى دولة قطر بالعمل والتنسيق مع وفد من ضباط وزارة الداخلية بدولة قطر للمشاركة في معرض الدفاع والأمن (كانسيك) والذي أقيم في أوتاوا في الفترة من 27 إلى 28 مايو 2026.
أتاحت هذه المشاركة فرصة قيمة لوفد الوزارة الموقر للاطلاع على أحدث التقنيات والحلول الكندية في مجالات الدفاع والأمن، وتعزيز التواصل المباشر مع عدد من الشركات الكندية الرائدة العاملة في هذه القطاعات الحيوية.
وتنتهز سفارة كندا هذه المناسبة لتعرب عن خالص تقديرها لمعالي وزير الداخلية، الشيخ خليفة بن حمد آل ثاني، على دعمه لهذه المبادرة التي تهدف إلى تعزيز علاقات الصداقة والتعاون الراسخة بين كندا ودولة قطر، وتطوير الشراكات الثنائية في مجالات الأمن السيبراني، وحماية المنشآت الحيوية، وأمن الحدود والسواحل، وغيرها من المجالات ذات الاهتمام المشترك.
