During May 26-28, 2026, the Euro-Atlantic Resilience Centre (E-ARC) is conducting its first Mobile Training Team (MTT), delivered in support of the -Eastern Europe Brigade Headquarters (SEEBRIG HQ), in Kumanovo, North Macedonia.
The E-ARC delegation, composed of LTC Alexandru-Ovidiu BELEA and MAJ Mihai DRAGOMIR, delivered a tailored training programme focused on societal resilience, the civil-military interface and the role of resilience in supporting multinational military structures operating in complex environments.
This MTT also represents the first resilience-focused training activity delivered in direct benefit of SEEBRIG HQ, marking an important step in the implementation of the SEDM/RESILIENCE project and in the broader effort to consolidate regional resilience across South-Eastern Europe.
The training addressed the relevance of societal preparedness, civil-military cooperation, continuity of essential functions, support to civilian populations, and the interaction between deployed forces and the societal environment in theatres of operation. Particular attention was given to the need to understand resilience not only as a national responsibility, but also as a practical enabler of regional stability, operational effectiveness and multinational cooperation.
Through this course, E-ARC reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the SEDM framework with practical expertise, tailored training and concrete instruments designed to strengthen the resilience of member states and regional military structures.
The activity further consolidated the cooperation between E-ARC and SEEBRIG HQ and confirmed the potential of the E-ARC Mobile Training Team format as a flexible and effective tool for delivering resilience expertise in support of partners across the Euro-Atlantic area.
