Headquarters Multinational Division South East: HQ MNDSE Headquarters Multinational Division South–East (HQ MND-SE) is a NATO HQ from NATO force structure

Comandamentul Multinațional de Divizie Sud-Est (HQ MND-SE) este o structură NATO, activată de către Consiliul Nord Atlantic (NAC) și care se află sub comanda operațională (OPCOM) a Comandantului Suprem al Forțelor Aliate din Europa (SACEUR). Ca urmare a deciziei NAC, HQ MND-SE se bucură de statutul unui comandament militar internațional NATO în conformitate cu Protocolul de la Paris și acordurile

suplimentare între țările NATO și Comandamentul Suprem al Forțelor Aliate din Europa (SHAPE). La data de 15 septembrie 2015, din ordinul Ministrului Apărării Naționale al României, domnul Mircea Dușa, a avut loc transformarea Diviziei 1 Infanterie „DACICA” în Comandamentul Multinațional de Divizie Sud-Est. La data de 1 decembrie 2015, a avut loc ceremonia de activare a comandamentului, eveniment care a reprezentat integrarea oficială a HQ MND-SE în Structura de Forțe NATO (NFS) pe baza implementării Planului de Acțiune pentru Ridicarea Capacității de Reacție a Alianței, stabilit în cadrul Summit-ului din Țara Galilor, 2014. La data de 1 Iulie 2016, la sediul comandamentului s-a desfășurat ceremonia de declarare a Capacității Inițiale a HQ MND-SE.

𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧. 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞. 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦.
500 soldiers from all nations of NATO Multinational BattleGroup Bulgaria trained together during 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐎𝐃𝐈𝐍. They focused on operational movement, information management and tactical activities in a realistic and high-intensity scenario.
𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐎𝐃𝐈𝐍 strengthened interoperability and readiness, enhancing the ability of Allied forces to operate together in support of deterrence and collective defence on NATO’s Eastern Flank.

From IOC to FOC, from evaluations to major NATO exercises, our journey has always been defined by one purpose: being ready when NATO needs us.
Our soldiers have trained and operated alongside Allies across the Alliance. Our headquarters has been entrusted with the command and control of NATO Multinational Battlegroups in Bulgaria and Romania.
We have seen Headquarters Multinational Corps South-East grow from an idea into a key part of NATO’s command structure in the region.
Today, after 11 years, HQ MND-SE remains what it was built to be: a trusted, ready and resilient headquarters on NATO’s South Eastern Flank.

🇷🇴 Ceremonia de predare-primire a Contingentului Militar Polonez

În data de 31 august 2026, la sediul Batalionului 26 Infanterie „Neagoe Basarab”, a avut loc ceremonia prilejuită de predare-primire (Hand-Over/Take-Over) între contingentele militare din Polonia, rotația a XVIII-a și rotația a XIX-a.
Contingentul militar polonez din cadrul Brigăzii Multinaţionale Sud-Est este parte componentă a iniţiativei comune, având misiunea de a contribui la asigurarea prezenţei înaintate adaptate (tFP) pe Flancul Estic al Alianţei, în conformitate cu măsurile adoptate în cadrul Summit-ului NATO de la Varşovia din 2016.

🇬🇧 Hand-Over/Take-Over of the Polish Military Contingent

On 31 August 2026, at the headquarters of the 26th Infantry Battalion “Neagoe Basarab,” a Hand-Over/Take-Over (HOTO) ceremony was held between the 18th and 19th rotations of the Polish Military Contingent.
The Polish Military Contingent within the Multinational Brigade South-East is an integral part of the joint initiative, with the mission of contributing to NATO’s tailored Forward Presence (tFP) on the Alliance’s Eastern Flank, in accordance with the measures adopted at the 2016 NATO Summit in Warsaw.

A 🇧🇬 Bulgarian Army delegation visited the Multinational Battle Group Bulgaria observing the ongoing training activities and exchanging experience with the participating units.
The visit also provided an opportunity to strengthen cooperation and prepare for future joint training activities.

Soldiers from 🇮🇹 Italy, 🇲🇪 Montenegro, 🇲🇰 North Macedonia and 🇷🇴 Romania from NATO Battlegroup 🇧🇬 Bulgaria trained together in a realistic and demanding environment during SILVER TIGER and GOLDEN TIGER exercises, at Novo Selo Training Area.

Through challenging training, NATO Multinational Battlegroup continues to strengthen interoperability and to contribute to Alliance’s deterrence and defence posture on the Eastern Flank.
