Autumn is just around the corner, and we’re heading into a new season of Accreditation activities!

We’re starting Accreditation 2026 with a training course in Latvia focused on Quality and Recognition of Youth Work. 🇱🇻

From 17–21 September, youth workers from Romania, Hungary, Serbia, Poland and Latvia will come together in Rezekne to learn, share experiences and explore how we can improve the quality and recognition of youth work across Europe. 🌍

📢 Apel deschis pentru tineri din România! 🇷🇴

Știm că e august și că toată lumea încearcă să se bucure de vacanță, dar noi deja facem pregătirile pentru următoarele activități din toamnă. 😄

Așa că, dacă ai între 18 și 30 de ani și ți-ar plăcea să descoperi Armenia într-un grup internațional, te invităm să aplici pentru schimbul de tineri “Digital Well-being”! 🇦🇲🌍

📅 22–30 octombrie 2026 (inclusiv zilele de călătorie)
📍 Tsaghkadzor, Armenia

De data aceasta vorbim despre ceva foarte prezent în viața noastră: relația cu tehnologia și rețelele sociale. Vom explora ideea de digital well-being, detoxifiere digitală, obiceiuri online mai sănătoase și modalități de a gestiona mai bine impactul internetului asupra stării noastre de bine.

Căutăm tineri care:
• au între 18–30 de ani
• sunt cetățeni români sau rezidenți legali în România
• au un nivel de engleză de minimum B2
• sunt deschiși să interacționeze și să colaboreze cu persoane cu și fără dizabilități
• pot participa la întreaga activitate
• sunt interesați să ducă mai departe ceea ce vor învăța în comunitatea lor.

Persoanele cu dizabilități senzoriale sau alte oportunități reduse sunt încurajate să aplice. Pentru acestea va fi necesar un document justificativ.

📝 Deadline pentru înscriere: 30 august 2026
📩 Rezultatele selecției vor fi comunicate până la 1 septembrie.

The Step Into Action Youth Exchange has come to an end, but the experiences, friendships, and lessons we shared will stay with us long after we returned home. 💚

Last week, 45 people from Romania, Belgium, Serbia, Hungary and Germany came together in the beautiful nature of Botassart to learn, challenge themselves, and create memories that will stay with them for a long time.

From hiking, water games and outdoor challenges to environmental actions and team activities, every day brought something new. Working in mixed-ability groups reminded us that inclusion it's something we experience when everyone has the chance to take part, contribute and support one another.

We left Belgium with new friendships, more confidence, plenty of ideas to bring home, and a stronger connection with nature and each other.

A big thank you to everyone. Until the next adventure!

Not every project day looks like 🚴‍♂️🌿☀️...

Sometimes it looks more like 💻☕📚.

That's us these days, working on something we're really excited about: the CYCLE-IN Practical Guide.

We're putting together everything we've learned throughout the project so far, from our trainings, experiences, know-how, and the amazing people we've met, to create a guide that will help make outdoor activities more accessible for young people with visual impairments.

It's a lot of writing, reviewing, discussing, rewriting... and yes, probably too much coffee. ☕😄

This autumn, we'll finally be able to share it with you, and we hope it will inspire more organisations to make the outdoors a place where everyone can take part.

As we slowly head towards the end of the Open Door KA2 Project, all the hard work, dedication, adventures, and unforgettable experiences from the past two years are finally taking a tangible form. 🌿

Yesterday, 45 participants from Romania, Belgium, Serbia, Hungary and Germany arrived in the beautiful nature of Botassart, Belgium, ready for a week of outdoor adventures, learning and getting to know each other. 🌿

Our first day was all about getting to know each other, breaking the ice, feeling comfortable as a group, and creating a common ground for the days ahead. There were lots of smiles, new friendships already starting, and a great atmosphere from the very beginning.

Over the next few days, we'll explore outdoor activities, learn in mixed-ability groups, challenge ourselves, and spend plenty of time surrounded by nature. 🌱

And just like that, the first phase of our DiscoverEU project "Breaking Barriers, Building Europe" has come to an end 💙

We’re already working on the next activity within this project (and we’ll tell you all about it very soon), but until then we wanted to take a moment to look back at this incredible adventure.

Over the past weeks we’ve shared some moments from our journey, but every photo and every story only captured a small part of what this experience really meant.

This activity was much more than travelling across Europe, it was about gaining confidence, becoming more independent, meeting new people, discovering different cultures, and showing that travelling can be inclusive when barriers are removed.

For our five young participants, it was a real step outside their comfort zones and an experience that will stay with them for a very long time.

Two mobilities, new competences and an important step forward for inclusive adult education!

Through the Erasmus+ project Inclusive Employability, Asociatia Babilon Travel completed two international learning activities: a training course hosted by Mine Vaganti NGO in Sassari, Italy, and a job-shadowing programme hosted by Fundación Docete Omnes in Granada, Spain.

Our staff strengthened their knowledge of inclusive education, job coaching, personalised employment pathways, accessibility, assistive technologies and cooperation with employers and employment support professionals.

The project does not end with the mobilities. Our next step is to organise internal workshops through which the experience and knowledge gained will be shared with all ABT staff members and volunteers and integrated into our future work and activities.
These experiences are helping our organisation grow, better understand the needs of adults with disabilities and other adults with fewer opportunities, and provide more accessible and effective support.

🥋🌍 Babilon Travel NGO took part in the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange "Fight for Inclusion: Taekwondo as a Tool for Social Change", held in Zagreb from 30 June to 7 July 2026.

The project brought together more than 60 young people from Romania, Croatia, and Serbia to explore how taekwondo and non-formal education can promote inclusion, build self-confidence, strengthen teamwork, and encourage intercultural learning.

Through practical training sessions, workshops, team-building activities, intercultural evenings, and daily reflection sessions, participants developed their communication skills, discipline, resilience, sense of responsibility, and openness towards people from different backgrounds.

A key focus of the project was the active participation of young people with fewer opportunities, including participants with disabilities. All activities were designed to create a safe and inclusive environment where everyone could contribute, learn, and participate on equal terms.

The project also included a public event in Zagreb, where members of the local community had the opportunity to take part in inclusive taekwondo activities, meet the participants, and learn more about the opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ Programme.

For Babilon Travel NGO, this project represented an important opportunity to strengthen international cooperation, promote adapted sports, and empower young people to become more confident, more connected, and more active within their communities.

Let us show you a bit more of the amazing experiences and adventures we had last week during our DiscoverEU project in Luxembourg 🇱🇺

We arrived back home late Thursday night after travelling in total both ways over 3,000 km by train, changing 14 trains.🚆 There were lots of adventures, unexpected moments and a lot of tiredness… but honestly, it was worth every single second of it! ✨

Our young participants had an amazing time during these days. The experience was not only about discovering the importance of the European Union, what it means to be an EU citizen and how its institutions work, but also about discovering more about themselves.
And honestly, the skills they developed during these few days were clearly visible!

On our last day, just before starting our journey back home, we visited the Europa Experience Center. Suddenly, many things started to make sense as they learned more about how the three main EU institutions work. The visual and interactive experience sparked a lot of questions, curiosity and interesting discussions among the young participants 🇪🇺

From discovering Luxembourg to discovering the EU, and a little bit more about themselves along the way, this DiscoverEU adventure was definitely one to remember 💙
