World Robot Olympiad, etapa regională, Piatra Neamț, 30 mai 2026

O zi plină de emoții, dar și de satisfacții. O zi cât 3 luni de muncă și studiu.

Echipele RoboSTEAM revin de la etapa regională WRO cu rezultate extraordinare: fiecare dintre cele cinci echipe participante a urcat pe podium și a fost recompensată pentru performanțele sale.

La categoria RoboSumo Kids, micii noștri roboți luptători au dominat competiția: echipa RoboSTEAM Push a obținut Premiul I (punctaj maxim), în timp ce RoboSTEAM Smash a câștigat Premiul II.

La categoria RoboMission Kids, echipa RoboSTEAM Quest a demonstrat creativitate, precizie și abilități excelente de programare, obținând pe teren scorul maxim și un record absolut de timp, drept care a fost recompensată cu Premiul I.

La Future Innovators, unde accentul cade pe inovație, cercetare și prezentarea unei soluții originale, echipa RoboSTEAM Weavers a primit prestigiosul Coding Award, iar echipa RoboSTEAM Ethnos a fost distinsă cu Team Spirit Award.

Dincolo de premii, această competiție a fost o experiență valoroasă de învățare, în care copiii au demonstrat că perseverența, creativitatea și pasiunea pentru tehnologie pot transforma ideile în proiecte remarcabile.

Felicitări tuturor participanților, mentorilor și părinților care au fost alături de echipe pe parcursul pregătirii și a competiției!

Mulțumim organizatorilor naționali, WRO Romania și Universitatea Națională de Știință și Tehnologie POLITEHNICA București (partener academic), precum și organizatorilor locali, Primăria Municipiului Piatra Neamț, Eu Codez și Rubik Hub, pentru organizarea unui eveniment de excepție.

A huge thank you to Professor Erika Baldt for another inspiring and thought-provoking talk on The Legacy of the Harlem Renaissance! 🎷✨
We’re also grateful to our colleagues from American Corner Bacău, București, and Târgu Mureș for their support in promoting and joining the event, and to all in-person and online participants for being part of this program.
It was a lively discussion on how the Harlem Renaissance continues to shape literature, culture, and contemporary society, sparking fresh perspectives and meaningful dialogue.

A huge thank you to Professor Erika Baldt for an inspiring and engaging talk on *The Declaration of Independence*! 🇺🇸✨

Special thanks as well to the U.S. Embassy and Fulbright Romania for their constant support and partnership!

We are also deeply grateful to our wonderful colleagues from American Corner Bacău, București, and Târgu Mureș for attending and helping promote this event—your support means everything! And a big thank you to all our in-person and online participants for being part of this program!

One of the highlights? Together with the audience, Professor Baldt rewrote a passage from the second paragraph of the Declaration of Independence in contemporary language:

“We believe these ideas to be obvious, that we are all the children of God; therefore we are all equal and share the same rights, some of which are existence, freedom, and the autonomy to seek a meaningful life; for the people to benefit from these rights, the established government should govern based on the citizens’ choices; when the government or any institution becomes harmful to society, people are allowed to change it or get rid of it; if a government isn’t working, people can rebuild it from the ground up in a way that serves their values. Change is not comfortable, so people prefer to endure problems as long as they can, rather than replace a system they are used to.”
