At the sidelines of the IMBRICS Forum, Ambassador Moses Kizige met MS Olga Kamneva, acting Head of Economic Department of the Tambov region, Alexey Pozdnyakov - Head of Rasskazovo district , Vladislav Denisov - Head of Uvarovo city (mayor) andSergey Efanov - Head of Petrovskiy district.
They discussed issues of mutual interest including cooperation in the area's trade, investment, tourism, education , culture and city to city cooperation.
The Cities in Tambov Region are ready to twin with Ugandan cities.
In 2021, the Uganda National Chamber of Commerce and Industry signed an agreement of cooperation with the Chamber of commerce and Industry of Tambov Region.
