Secretariat of the International Association of Young Diplomats (IAYD)

❤️ The International Association of Young Diplomats (IAYD) was officially established in 2021 at the initiative of the Council of Young Diplomats and with the support of the leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.

🌐 As stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Sergey V. Lavrov:

As a more just and sustainable multipolar world order continues to take shape, diplomacy and international cooperation are playing an increasingly important role in strengthening stability and security in all their dimensions.

In this regard, a special role belongs to our young colleagues, who will soon take up the baton in shaping a unifying and forward-looking international agenda.

The International Association of Young Diplomats, which brings together like-minded professionals from many countries of the Global Majority, is called upon to make its contribution to this highly important endeavour.

☝️ The IAYD serves as a unique discussion platform for fostering professional ties among young diplomats.

Today, the Association brings together approximately 250 young officials from the foreign ministries of 66 countries.

➡️ On 12 February 2026, the Secretariat of the Association was officially inaugurated at MGIMO University during the First IAYD Conference, with the participation of the Rector, Anatoly V. Torkunov.

➡️ The IAYD Secretariat is entrusted with ensuring effective coordination, as well as providing information, analytical, protocol and organizational support for the Association’s activities, including young diplomats’ forums.

The Secretariat’s key objectives include:

➡️ Promoting the professional potential of young diplomats and strengthening their meaningful contribution to addressing global challenges;

➡️ Organizing major international conferences, working meetings, seminars, and specialized educational programmes;

➡️ Advancing the institutions of youth diplomacy, expanding the network of professional contacts among young diplomats, and developing platforms for the exchange of experience and best practices;

➡️ Coordinating cooperation with IAYD member states and international partners.

We are confident that the work of the IAYD Secretariat will become an effective mechanism for promoting a constructive and unifying international agenda, while further expanding the space for friendship and mutual trust.

🇺🇳 Members of the Association regularly present the results of its activities at the United Nations, including during the 2025 and 2026 ECOSOC Youth Forum and throughout the High-level Week of the United Nations General Assembly.

🕯 June 22 marks the Day of Memory and Sorrow — the most tragic date in the history of our country.

On this very day 8️⃣5️⃣ years ago, on June 22, 1941, the Great Patriotic War of the Soviet people commenced — the N**i Germany and its European 'axis' accomplices treacherously attacked our Motherland, without a declaration of war.

⬛️ The Great Patriotic War lasted for 1418 days and nights, claimed lives of some 27 million Soviet citizens. It was the nationwide tragedy that brought terrible suffering to each and every family in our country.

Today, June 22 echoes with sorrow, grief and pain for the ruined lives of millions of our people.

The enemy — the German N**is and their European satellites — invaded the Soviet Union with one aim — to destroy, mercilessly eliminate, kill and physically annihilate our Motherland's entire population regardless of people's ethnic, racial or religious background. During the occupation of Soviet territories, Hitler’s troops killed 13.7 million Soviet civilians, including women and children. They carried out the real GENOCIDE as part of their so-called 'Lebensraum' policy to gain the living space in the East for German colonisation.

⬛️ At dawn on June 22, the N**i aircraft launched massive strikes on airfields, railway stations, naval bases, deployments of the Red Army forces, and cities along the entire western state border of the USSR and up to 250-300 km into Soviet territory. Together with N**i Germany, Romania, Italy, Finland, Slovakia, France, Croatia, Spain, Denmark, the Netherlands and other 'axis' powers allied to the Third Reich took part in the aggression against our country. The industries of almost the entire European continent served the aggressors.

The facts of collaboration of the majority of European governments, military, industrial circles and citizens with the N**is are not and will never ever be forgotten.

It was our country that took the main blow of the N**i aggression. It was the Soviet Victorious People who showed unparalleled heroism and resilience, fighting for the freedom of our Motherland. Our nation paid for the with the blood of 27 million Soviet citizens who not only expelled N**is from Soviet territory but also heroically saved Europe from the 'N**i plague'.

The tragedy that befell our people was directly caused by the evil ripening in the heart of Europe — N**ism, the ideology of human hatred and racial supremacy over other peoples and nations.

This year marks 85 years since N**i Germany’s attack on the Soviet Union.

This date carries both the sorrow of millions of lives lost and a reminder of the terrible consequences of blind belief in one’s own superiority, racism, xenophobia, and the denial of other peoples’ right to identity.

The atrocities committed by the N**is and their accomplices during the Great Patriotic War have no statute of limitations.

Russia has recognised these crimes at the legislative level as the genocide of the Soviet people and will tirelessly seek recognition of this fact by European countries and the so-called West as a whole.

Today we mourn those who, at the cost of their lives, fulfilled the sacred duty of defending the Motherland. We will not allow the feat of the Soviet people, who saved Europe and the world from the horrors of the brown plague, to be erased from memory.

🕯 22 июня — День памяти и скорби. Самая трагическая дата в истории нашей страны и всего человечества.

Именно в этот день ровно 8️⃣5️⃣ лет назад началась Великая Отечественная война советского народа — на Советский Союз обрушилась вся мощь военной машины нацистской Германии и её европейских сателлитов, вероломно, без объявления войны напавших на СССР. Именно в этот день наша Родина дала отпор фашистскому агрессору.

Война длилась 1418 дней и ночей. Унесла жизни 27 миллионов наших граждан, оставив страшный отпечаток на каждой семье.

До сих пор дата 22 июня отзывается скорбью, грустью и болью за искалеченные судьбы миллионов наших людей. Нет такой семьи в нашей стране и в бывших республиках СССР, которую не затронула бы та страшная война.

Враг напал на Советский Союз с единственной целью — разрушать, беспощадно уничтожать, убивать и истреблять всё население нашей страны — безотносительно этнической, расовой или религиозной принадлежности. В период оккупации территории СССР гитлеровцы целенаправленно уничтожили 13,7 миллионов мирных советских граждан, включая женщин и детей. Это был настоящий геноцид, осуществляемый в рамках политики «освобождения жизненно пространства на Востоке» для немецких колонистов, т.н. Lebensraum.

Преступления, совершённые нацистами и их подручными не имеют срока давности.

⬛️ На рассвете 22 июня вражеская авиация нанесла массированные удары по аэродромам, железнодорожным станциям, военно-морским базам, местам дислокации войск и городам вдоль всей западной государственной границы СССР и на глубину до 250-300 км. Вместе с нацистской Германией в агрессии приняли участие: Румыния, Италия, Финляндия, Словакия, Франция, Хорватия, Испания, Дания, Голландия и другие союзные Третьему рейху государства. На агрессоров работала промышленность почти всей континентальной Европы.

Не забыты факты коллаборационизма и соучастия большинства европейских правительств, вооружённых сил, промышленных кругов и граждан в гитлеровских преступлениях.

Именно наша страна приняла на себя главный удар немецко-фашистских захватчиков. Именно советский Народ-Победитель проявил беспримерный героизм и стойкость, сражаясь за свободу нашей Родины. Наш народ заплатил за Великую Победу кровью почти 27 миллионов советских граждан, которые не только изгнали фашистов с территории СССР, но и героически спасли Европу от гитлеризма.

Обрушившаяся на наш народ трагедия стала прямым следствием вызревшего в центре Европы зла — нацизма, человеконенавистнической идеологии расового превосходства над другими народами и нациями.

💬 Президент России В.В.Путин на торжественном приёме по случаю празднования 81-й годовщины Победы в Великой Отечественной войне (9 мая 2026 года):

В этом году исполняется 85 лет со дня нападения нацистской Германии на Советский Союз.

В этой дате — скорбь по миллионам погибших и напоминание, к каким страшным последствиям способна привести слепая вера в своё превосходство, расизм, ксенофобия, отказ другим народам в праве на самобытность.

Злодеяния, совершённые нацистами и их пособниками в годы Великой Отечественной войны, не имеют срока давности.

Россия на законодательном уровне признала эти преступления геноцидом советского народа и будет неустанно добиваться признания этого факта странами Европы и Запада.

Они несут коллективную ответственность перед человечеством за развязывание самой кровопролитной в истории войны, цинично переписывают историю, поощряют разгул неонацизма.

🎬 Вторая церемония вручения Открытой Евразийской кинопремии «Бриллиантовая бабочка» состоится в Москве в 2026 году.

Первая торжественная церемония прошла в российской столице 27 ноября 2025 года в «Мастерской “12” Никиты Михалкова». Премия учреждена Министерством культуры Российской Федерации и Российским фондом культуры.

Инициатором создания Евразийской киноакадемии и кинопремии выступил режиссёр Никита Михалков.

Главная цель кинопремии — напомнить миру о подлинной миссии кинематографа, которая заключается в стремлении говорить о важнейших традиционных человеческих ценностях и бережно сохранять культурное и историческое национальное наследие.

✅ Девиз — «Любая правда без любви есть ложь».

🏆 Награды будут вручены в 12 номинациях:

• «Лучший фильм»;
• «Лучший режиссёр»;
• «Лучший сценарий»;
• «Лучший оператор»;
• «Лучший композитор»;
• «Лучший актёр»;
• «Лучшая актриса»;
• «Лучший актёр второго плана»;
• «Лучшая актриса второго плана»;
• «Лучший художник»;
• «Лучший фильм страны, не входящей в Евразийское пространство»;
• «Приз за вклад в мировой кинематограф».

Главная награда премии — «Бриллиантовая бабочка»: уникальная статуэтка, инкрустированная бриллиантами и созданная художником Юрием Купером.

🌐 В рамках масштабной программы продвижения евразийского кино за рубежом Российский фонд культуры совместно с РОСКИНО при поддержке Министерства культуры Российской Федерации также проведут серию международных кинопоказов фильмов — участников кинопремии.

Показы пройдут в восьми странах: Сербия, ЮАР, Китай, КНДР, Абхазия, Венгрия, Италия и Франция.
