Today, Rwanda Public Procurement Authority (RPPA) hosted a delegation from the Ministry of Communication, Digital Economy and Innovation of the Republic of Guinea (MCENI) for a benchmarking visit on Rwanda’s experience in public procurement.

The visit explored key areas including procurement standards, capacity development, monitoring, legal frameworks, and the UMUCYO e-Procurement System.

On behalf of the Director General of RPPA, SIBOMANA P. Celestin, the Ag. Division Manager for Research, Capacity Development and Monitoring, welcomed the delegation and highlighted the importance of cooperation and mutual learning to strengthen transparency, accountability, value for money and efficient use of public resources.

On 11th August 2026, Rwanda Public Procurement Authority (RPPA) hosted a delegation from the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training of the United Republic of Tanzania – Zanzibar (MoEVT) for a benchmarking visit on Rwanda’s public procurement framework focusing on e-procurement, governance, transparency, accountability, compliance, and contract management.

RPPA Director General, , described the benchmarking visit as a two-way learning process and a platform to share Rwanda’s experience and lessons while learning from Tanzania’s approaches, innovations, and experience.

He further highlighted that peer-to-peer engagement provides a strong platform for identifying practical areas of collaboration and strengthening public procurement systems in both countries.
