Today, the Media Development Technical Working Group (MD-TWG) held its quarterly meeting. Participants assessed the status of implementation of the interventions’ matrix agreed upon, challenges and possible solutions.

The focus was put on how to improve the efficiency of the TWG through better information sharing and efficient monitoring & evaluation mechanisms, with the purpose of contributing to the achievement of NST2 media related targets.

Today, the Deputy CEO of RGB Dr. USENGUMUKIZA Felicien together with the Chairperson of National Commission for Human Rights (NCHR) held a courtesy call meeting with H.E. Jeanne Crauser, the Ambassador of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg to Rwanda.

Their discussions centered on the mandate of RGB and how to strengthen the existing collaboration between both institutions, among others.

Today on 3rd June 2026, the Deputy CEO of Rwanda Governance Board Dr. Usengumukiza Felicien together with the RGB Secretary General Dr. Kalisa Edward and the Heads of departments met with members of delegation from African School of Governance’s partners who are in Rwanda to participate in the Strong Nations for Africa Program.
The delegation was given a presentation on RGB's mandate in governance accountability, the role of RGB in good governance and service delivery in Rwanda, policies and legal framework for registering and monitor the functioning of NGOs, Faith-Based organizations and Political organizations.
The Strong Nations for Africa Program is a 5-day leadership development programme designed for senior African public sector leaders committed to strengthening governance and driving systemic change in their countries. It is jointly designed by African School of Governance and co-delivered by the Chandler Academy of Governance, the training division of the Chandler Governance Group and the African Association for Public Administration and Management (AAPAM)
