CP Yahaya Kamunuga, on behalf of the leadership, welcomed a contingent commanded by SSP Jean D’Amour Ndagijimana, who returned home after completing a one-year United Nations peacekeeping mission in the Central African Republic.

They were relieved by another contingent led by SSP Emmanuel Busasa, which departed in the morning to continue the mission.

Today,

A delegation of 15 public transport experts from United Republic of Tanzania, led by the Assistant Director of the Road Transport Department in the Ministry of Transport, Mr. Andrew Magombana, visited the Headquarters in Kacyiru as part of a two-day study tour in Kigali to learn about Rwanda's motorcycle public transport management model.

The delegation was received by the Commissioner for Traffic and Road Safety, ACP Gerard Mpayimana, who, on behalf of the leadership, briefed them on the legal and regulatory framework governing motorcycle public transport and its role in enhancing road safety, improving service delivery, and promoting efficient mobility in Rwanda.

Today,

A group of 165 students from various countries, mainly from African nations, accompanied by their parents and facilitators, visited the Rwanda National Police Headquarters in Kacyiru. They were received by the commissioner for Public Relations and Media, , ACP Boniface Rutikanga.

The students are participating in a 12-day Pan-African Innovation Bootcamp organized by Coderina ED TECH to promote innovation among young people and to learn about Africa’s history. The study tour is part of a program designed to expose them to Rwanda’s journey in nation-building, innovation, and sustainable development.

They were briefed on activities carried out by various departments of the Rwanda National Police, with a particular focus on the Traffic and Road Safety and Fire and Rescue Operations

A group of 42 Rwandan youth from Belgium, the USA, Canada, the UK, and Nigeria, led by Jean Leonard Dukuzumuremyi, Youth Sport and Talent Detection Specialist in the Ministry of Youth and Arts, visited the Rwanda National Police Headquarters as part of the Rwanda Youth Tour, which aims to strengthen the bond between young Rwandans abroad and their home country.
