The Rwanda Non‑Communicable Diseases Alliance (RNCDA) successfully convened its 2025 General Assembly this quarter, bringing together member organizations, partners, and key stakeholders. The Assembly served as a vital governance platform to review performance, strengthen accountability, and set strategic directions for the year ahead.
Members approved the 2025 annual reports, which highlighted progress in program implementation, advocacy, partnerships, and community‑based interventions, while also reflecting on lessons learned and challenges faced. Updated organizational policies and regulations were adopted to enhance compliance and coordination, reinforcing RNCDA’s institutional governance.
Looking forward, the Assembly endorsed the 2026 annual action plan, outlining strategic priorities and interventions to advance the NCD agenda in Rwanda. The meeting reaffirmed RNCDA’s commitment to effective planning, strong governance, and sustained collaboration with stakeholders in the fight against NCDs.
