As part of strengthening international counterterrorism efforts, IMCTC Secretary General Maj. Gen. Mohammed Al-Moghedi met in London with the Director of the National & Economic Security Directorate, Mr. Thomas Barry, as well as with Mr. Martin Warr, Head of Counter Daesh Cell at the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, means of developing cooperation in countering terrorist organizations and strengthening exchange of experiences, expertise, training and capacity building to advance regional and international security and stability.

IMCTC Secretary General, Maj. Gen. Mohammed bin Saeed Al-Moghedi, met in London with Ms. Jemima Murray, Director, Counter Terrorism, Homeland Security Group, at the UK Home Office. The meeting addressed the growing challenges posed by online extremism and radicalization, as well as the importance of strengthening cooperation and exchanging expertise to counter them. Ms. Murray also commended IMCTC’s efforts across its various domains and its role in supporting Member States and building their capacities, particularly in the Ideology and Counter-Terrorism Financing domains.
