Ministry of , represented by the General Secretariat of the competition, has begun distributing a cash award of SAR 5,000 to each participant in the 46th edition of for the Memorization, Recitation and Interpretation of the Holy Qur’an, totaling SAR 1.5 million.
The initiative recognizes their participation and encourages them to continue their dedication to the Book of Allah. The competition features the participation of 334 contestants from 133 countries.

His Excellency Minister of Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif Al Alsheikh inaugurated at Ministry of headquarters in Riyadh, the Electronic System for Mosque Affairs platform, along with the (Masajid) and (Mosque Personnel) applications, to automate services and enhance field oversight.
The system marks a significant advancement in serving more than 85,000 mosques, congregational mosques, and Eid prayer grounds across the Kingdom, as part of ongoing efforts to enhance operational efficiency, data accuracy, and support decision-making.

Today’s sermons across mosques in the Kingdom were unified, in implementation of the directives of His Excellency Minister of , Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Alsheikh, to address the virtue of knowledge and its people; the responsibility of male and female students, teachers, and families in preparing for the new academic year; encourage diligence and hard work; reinforce Islamic and national values; promote moderation and balanced thought; highlight the obligation to pray for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, -may Allah protect them- and emphasize the duty of loyalty, love, and defending the homeland.
This comes as part of the Ministry’s efforts to activate the message of the pulpit, enhance religious awareness, and reinforce Islamic and national values, contributing to strengthening the sense of responsibility toward religion, leadership, and the homeland.
