On 22 June 2026, His Excellency Mr. Ahmed Sareer, Ambassador of the Republic of Maldives to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia held a meeting with His Excellency Dr. Saud Al-Sati, Deputy Minister for Political Affairs, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. At the meeting, discussions were held on strengthening the enduring ties of cooperation between the Maldives and Saudi Arabia.
