Reports allege that a group of Anyuak terrorists came to Gambella town with a plan to kill a Nuer man this afternoon. However, upon arrival, they reportedly killed an Anyuak man instead, allegedly because they failed to recognize him as an Anyuak.

The person shown in the picture below is reportedly the person who was killed in the incident.

These reports remain unverified. Authorities are investigating the incident and working to establish the facts and confirm the victim’s identity.
