When Confidence Leads the Way 🌱
When we asked Home of the Home Lab alumna Agnes at what she valued most from the incubation programme, her answer was simple:

✨ Confidence.

A stronger belief in herself, her ideas and what she can achieve.

Over six months, she developed Furniture by the Meter, a design concept aimed at reducing material waste and making production more sustainable. Her journey was supported by inspiring people, honest feedback and mentor Bengt Isberg's encouragement along the way.

Now, her project is taking its next step and will be exhibited

And soon, a new chapter begins. In just a few weeks, we'll welcome ten new ideas, new people and plenty of new possibilities.

Big ideas often start small. Sometimes, they simply start with someone believing in you. 💛

New ideas that bring more calm into everyday life. 🧘
More and more people are looking for small ways to slow down and find moments of calm in everyday life.

This autumn, as Home of the Home Lab welcomes its second programme round, two of our entrepreneurs will explore mindfulness in everyday life in very different ways.

Patricia La Torre Ramirez is exploring how creativity and storytelling can become part of everyday well-being. Inspired by traditional Peruvian retablos and miniature worlds, she is developing a modular system that lets people build, personalise and gradually expand small creative spaces in their homes.

Meanwhile, Andrea Mendoza is developing personal care products with thoughtful forms that transform a practical habit into a calming ritual. She joined Home of the Home Lab because she believes ideas are meant to become reality, and she wants to create products that bring a little more intention and mindfulness into everyday routines.

Different ideas. Different paths. One shared intention: creating a little more calm in everyday life. ✨

Using what already exists to make life at home more circular. ♻️️
This autumn, ten ideas will begin their journey with Home of the Home Lab. Two of them are exploring how everyday life can be more circular. But in two different ways.

One of them, Homie, explores how existing objects can be given a new life at home. Mónica Morales and her co-founder Rocío Boy are interested in creating more accessible and practical ways to reuse, repair and transform what already exists.

The other idea, hhapn, transforms locally sourced waste into desirable home products. Shobini Sai and Abishek Nidadhalu Ramesh are exploring how thoughtful design, material experimentation and local collaboration can challenge perceptions of waste.

We're excited to welcome both teams to the autumn programme and to follow their journey as they continue finding new ways to make life at home more circular. 🚀

Use what you know to create something new. 💡

When you bring together what you've learned through work, studies, hobbies, and personal interests, we often carry far more knowledge and experience than we realise.

And often, it is right in that space between profession and passion where new ideas can begin to take shape.

This autumn Jeffrey Chamiec is turning his lifelong passion for music and vinyl into an opportunity to create new products for collectors and music lovers. Starting out in a record shop at a young age, later running his own store, and spending years as a record dealer, he knows the world of physical music collections inside out 🎶

Tarek Khnijer is building on his background in interaction design and his fascination with sensory experiences. He will explore how scent can become a natural part of everyday life, supporting moments of relaxation, focus, well-being, and connection.

Different backgrounds. Different interests. One shared approach: building something new from knowledge, experience, and passion.

We are excited to follow both entrepreneurs as they continue developing their ideas in this autumn's programme. Check out our homepage to see all the exciting ideas joining this autumn! 🚀

Building ideas together! 🤝
Having someone to think with. Someone who complements your strengths. Someone to share both the excitement and the uncertainty with. For many entrepreneurs, building together is not just a bonus. It's a real strength.

This autumn, several teams are joining Home of the Home Lab's incubator programme.

When Bhuvana and Harish moved to Älmhult, much of life was new. A new place, new neighbours, and new challenges around the home. Their idea, Verktygsbanken, grew from that experience and is the beginning of a community tool library. The concept is simple: borrow what you need, return it when you're done, and let it help someone else next. ♻️

Chinonso and Oluwaseun's idea is also inspired by the experience of being new in a place. They are developing Setlyn, a circular furnishing platform for international students moving to Sweden for the first time. A way to help people feel at home from day one while making sustainable living more accessible and practical.

Different teams. Shared ambitions. Learning together and creating solutions that can make everyday life a little easier.

We're excited to welcome both teams to the autumn programme and to follow their journey as their ideas continue to grow. 🚀

Different paths, same intention 🌱
Sustainability can take many forms. Some people focus on changing behaviours. Others explore new materials. The ideas may look very different, but the intention is often the same: creating a more sustainable everyday life.

This autumn, Snehasis and Dimana, two of the entrepreneurs joining Home of the Home Lab's incubator programme, will approach sustainability from different angles.

♻️ Snehasis Biswas is looking at some of the common barriers to household composting. His idea is to create a practical, well-designed tool that makes circular living simpler and more hygienic. A small shift that could make a real difference in everyday behaviour.

🧵 Dimana Tozova is investigating biodegradable textiles made from brown algae for furniture design. By turning algae into yarn, she is exploring alternatives to more traditional textile production.

Different ideas. Different approaches. One shared intention: helping make everyday life a little more sustainable.

Friday feeling - maybe today is a good day to try! 💫
Trying something small can be a big step. Send that message. Share that idea. Ask someone what they think. It doesn’t have to be perfect to be worth exploring.

Sometimes, it’s not about having a plan. It’s about being just brave enough to begin.

We see it all the time. Small steps turning into something more. Ideas starting to take shape. People growing along the way.

And that’s where it begins.

Wishing you a soft landing into the weekend – and maybe one small step forward. 💛

Small sparks matter ✨
Not every idea starts big.
Sometimes it’s just a small thought. A question. Something that doesn’t quite make sense yet.

That’s enough.

Write it down. Talk about it. Let it grow in its own way. You don’t need a plan. Just a place to begin.

Small sparks can go further than you think. 💡💛

Relax and give your ideas som space!💡

Summer can be a good place to slow down, take a step back, and let thoughts settle. Not everything has to move fast. Sometimes, the best thing you can do is to pause, look at things from a different angle, and listen to what keeps coming back.

Because ideas don’t always show up when we try to force them. They often appear in between things, in quiet moments, in conversations, or when your mind gets a bit of room to wander. 💭

Maybe it’s exactly this summer that your next idea begins.

At Home of the Home Lab, we support brave entrepreneurs with new ideas. We’re here to listen, to explore together, and to support both you and your idea as it starts to take shape.

Enjoy your summer! We’ll be here when you’re ready to take the next step. 💛

Want to know who the ten new ideas joining the next round of Home of the Home Lab are?

We can share that this second cohort brings a mix of perspectives, and we’re excited to follow and support them as they turn their ideas into something real.

Here’s a little sneak peek. Services that are circular and bring people together. Moments of mindfulness at home. Thoughtful ways of dealing with food waste. And new ways to turn waste into something beautiful.
