My last work day at Ågesta Golfklubb today. An extremely fun place to have worked over 8 seasons and i can look back and be proud of the huge progress the club has made!

I want to give a huge thanks to all the members and staff at the club and wish nothing but continued success at Ågesta Golfklubb!

Also an extra big thanks to all greenkeepers at the club from this year and previous years. All the projects, machine investments, repairs and improvements and the day-to-day maintenance couldn't have been possible without you all.

After 7 seasons at Ågesta Golfklubb Joe will be moving on and taking the next step in his career.

Starting as a seasonal Greenkeeper in 2016, Joe has worked his way up the ranks, becoming the Deputy Course Manager & Workshop Manager in 2018. Learning to become a mechanic, licensed spray technician, irrigation technician, agronomist, licensed excavator operator and a brilliant team leader, it has been a privilege to witness!

An absolute dream employee. Its been a pleasure being part of your journey and all the very best for your new chapter Joe.

Temperatures have dropped in the night now and this morning was 3°C and the frost was almost creeping in.

The practice greens and the 9 Hole course will get some well needed love this week. They will be deep aerated, shallow aerated, seeded and topdressed. Followed by a fertiliser application. Greens 4 and 6, which never recovered from the ice damage last winter will be put onto temporary greens. Weather depending, we may even use our grow covers on the damaged areas to speed up the germination and establishment before cold temperatures become a problem.

Hydraulic leak spotted almost instantly from Sebastian on the fairway mower. "A good machinery operator is always alert and focused on the many details of the job." 👌 Kungen Joe in the picture making it look easy repairing the machine.

It is forbidden to take balls from the driving range and practice on the course! Please keep an eye out and report anyone who doesn't respect the rules.
