Sunsets after 6 pm are nature's way of welcoming spring and all its greenery. Humans and horses relish in these hours of extra light and while the temperatures still drop at night all the first signs of warmer seasons are there - the birds are singing, snow and ice give way to bare grounds and the grass is contemplating turning the pastures lushous and green. Anticipation is in the air - we call it pre-spring. That time when nature starts its 6 week transformation from whites, grays and darkness to a summer palate that is almost difficult to visualise until it arrives.
