SOSAB 2026 🦅🇵🇱
The Parachute Ranger Squadron recently participated in the Polish-hosted SOSAB Workshop, alongside airborne forces from several allied nations.
This year’s workshop focused on Military Operations in Urban Terrain (MOUT), with particular emphasis on the integration of reconnaissance and combat drones into urban operations. The primary purpose of the workshop is to exchange knowledge, share best practices, and strengthen the bonds between allied paratroopers. The programme included tactical training, live-fire exercises, and night operations.
A Ukrainian delegation also took part, sharing valuable operational experience and lessons identified from the ongoing war. Their expertise, particularly in the employment of unmanned aerial systems, provided important insights and contributed significantly to the discussions and training.
Thank you to our Polish hosts from the 6th Airborne Brigade for delivering a professional, well-executed, and highly valuable workshop. We also extend our sincere thanks to the Ukrainian delegation for openly sharing their operational experience and valuable lessons learned. Strong partnerships and shared knowledge strengthen our collective capability.
