🌟 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻’𝘀 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗦𝗣𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗥 💫
✨ In 𝟸̲𝟶̲𝟸̲𝟻̲, 𝗦̲𝗣̲𝗜̲𝗗̲𝗘̲𝗥̲ continued to coordinate, steer and support projects, programmes and long-term partnerships that connect Swedish and European partners with collaborators in low- and middle-income countries. Our a strong focus on digitalisation, inclusion, and global equity through the special SPIDER developed Peer-to-Peer model for sustained results and impact has proved to be a unique approach in international development.
🩺 🎯 During the year, the 𝗛𝗔𝗗𝗗𝗔 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲 achieved great results in Somalian health system and contributed to strengthening locally led digital solutions, research capacity, and institutional collaboration, supporting knowledge creation that is directly relevant for practice and policy in fragile contexts.
⛳ Several flagship projects also reached important milestones. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗦 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 (TEI) advanced its peer-to-peer capacity building of telecom regulatory authorities in sub-Saharan Africa through research, dialogue, and engagement with key stakeholders in Europe and Africa covering 𝟯̲𝟲̲ 𝗰̲𝗼̲𝘂̲𝗻̲𝘁̲𝗿̲𝗶̲𝗲̲𝘀̲ 𝘁̲𝗼̲ 𝗱̲𝗮̲𝘁̲𝗲̲. 🌍 While 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲 progressed in developing and testing inclusive, technology-enabled care approaches adapted to local needs and contexts. 💡
👁️🗨️ Across regions and disciplines, SPIDER coordinated/supported initiatives continue to generate knowledge that extends beyond sector divides – enhancing capacity building, local ownership, and evidence-informed decision-making for inclusive digitalisation that benefits all.
