Have WE gone too far? Yesterday, we uploaded our event for our debate on feminism, which due to its provocative title triggered a great debate on the event. Unfortunately, our description seems to have been misleading for many people. We apologize to all people who have taken offense.

The former title for the event stemmed from the televised debate on feminism in Swedish media, which we wanted to critically refer to.
This event is done in cooperation with the feminist association MHFF and Utrikespolitiska Föreningen i Malmö with a panel consisting of feminist scholars. Clearly, our intention is NOT anti-feminist. Our aim was to create a platform to discuss what feminism means to different people, especially with different cultural backgrounds. However, we understand that our description needed further elaboration, which is why we will upload a new event.

In fact, we are very happy to see that all of you have immediately engaged with our topic in a critical way. Having people with strong opinions and the courage to voice them, is the basis for any debate. In this light we believe our event is as necessary as ever. Now that we have your attention, we hope to see you at our event and discuss.
