(Svenska nedan i kommentarer) Reclaim Pride is happening next week! We’ve heard that some of you are interested in hands-on volunteer roles during the festival. So, we need you now to help make Reclaim Pride 2026 go as smooth as possible!

There will be different tasks and roles, and we’ll make sure to accommodate everyone’s availability and abilities. The roles include (but are not limited to):
- welcoming visitors, incl. keeping attendance track, 
- cooking food for the dinner (15-18 pm Tuesday, the dinner is 18-20 pm), 
- serving food and/or drinks (at the Grand Opening Tue 18 August, Solidarity Party Fri 21 August, and the Closing Party Sat 22 August), 
- helping set up equipment for the different events, 
- basic arrangements and clean-up.

From Monday to Friday the events are in the evenings; on Saturday the schedule is from 15 pm to 01 am. (please, check the exact timeline of each day in our program announcement).

Would you like to join for one day? Great! 😍 Can you join for more days? Even greater. 😍 The festival takes place next week 17-23 August, send us an e-mail on [email protected] if you are interested. Kindly with the dates and times you can volunteer and which tasks you would like to have.

Reclaim Pride is happening again 🥳 We are building a Pride that is explicitly anticapitalist, antifascist, antiracist, anti-Zionist, extraparliamentary, and grounded in decolonial and intersectional perspectives. This is a q***rfeminist space where TERFs and SWERFs are not welcome, and where cops will never be allowed.

It’s for us, by us. We have the power to be helpful towards each other - now we’re creating a real community festival 🔥 So here’s a shoutout to all of you qu**rs: would you like to do something?

We’re calling for program contributions:
* Artists, DJs, performers… Say hi and let us know what’s your thing :)
* Workshops created by community members. So cool with learning together while having good times!
* Panel talks - bring your knowledge and pass it on 🤫📣
* Peer circles - let’s talk about what’s important for us!
* Skill share - presentations, readings, show and tell - all the creative ways of sharing with the community your unique skills or gifts
* [Other?] …our world evades categories 🤔 if you have another idea, describe it to us!
* Volunteers! Obviously, we need hands-on people to make it happen (P.S. a great way to get to know each other in action, and minimize the awkward drifting around ;)

Timeline

* The main event will happen 17-23 of August - this is an open invitation to contribute to the program we’re just starting to put together. Let us know what you’re interested in ✨ whether it’s a concrete proposal or an idea in shaping! Email us at [email protected] by the 17th of July!

* ❗A party on the 4th of July! Mark your calendars! 🗓️ The cat (or rather, the seahorse) is out of the bag! ✨

Save the date for Reclaim Pride Malmö 2026: August 17-23 (week 34)! Whether we run for 2-3 days or stretch across the full week depends entirely on the number of program entries we receive. Either way, our goal is to distribute the program evenly so the agenda isn’t overly packed. We want to make sure you can easily combine the festival with your everyday life without burning out!
