Tidslinjen är under uppbyggnad med mål att i maj 2013 kunna erbjuda 25-30 kultur och naturhistoriska platser i Vara kommun som du i stort sätt måste besöka. Dessa platser berättar vår historia från istid till nutid och presenterar platser som: Elings gryta - ett stort grytliknande hål från istiden. Offerplatsen Finnestorp - en offerplats från folkvandringstiden där det gjorts utgrävningar i närmre
100 år. Sparlösastenen - Sveriges äldsta runsten, en ståtlig och mystisk sten från senast 800 efter kristus. Longs by - är platsen där Lagman Eskil Magnusson verkade under medeltiden, han var dessutom bror till Birger jarl. Bengtssonska Magasinet - Magasin från 1800-talet intill Varas järnvägssation som är grunden till jordbrukets framfart och utveckling i dessa trakter. Ranahult naturreservat - Varas första naturreservat med rikt djurliv och flora. Vara Stationshus - som i maj 2012 invigdes som ett av Varas största konstverk, även kallat "Blue orange". In maj 2013 you can visit 25-30 places in Vara, Sweden. These places sprid out all over the municipality will take you on a jerney from the ice age to the present. These places lies on the countryside and in the center of Vara. You will experience:
A big pot looking pit from the ice age. The oldest runeston of Sweden from the 800 after Christ. A place of sacrifice where they buried their opponents in the war during the Migration Period. Performances from the Middle Ages and its important people who were found themselves here. Significant buildings for agriculture during the railway's emergence in the 1800's
Nature reserves with abundant wildlife and stunning flora. Blue Orange is one of 2012 Century works of art, consisting of the railway station in the center of Vara.
