They look beyond their ownselves and their immediate needs to focus on the hardships and sufferings of others, which is one of the teachings and principles & essences of Islam.

Alhamdulillah. Began in January 2022 in Cambodia, Aqrab World has expanded its PKK-LIVELIHOOD to Semporna, Sabah in January 2024.

These projects aim to provide long-term support and financial assistance to various communities.

Amongst PKK-LIVELIHOOD projects include:
• Open sea Fish Breeding
• Fish Catching along the sea coast
• Production of Dried Fish
• Duck Rearing
• Production of Salted Egg

PKK- LIVELIHOOD @ Kg Beng Tongsong, Cambodia
-FISH BREEDING

Fish breeding started in August 2023 with 1 fish pond. Now, it has expanded to 2 ponds and able to rear almost 11000 fishes at a time.

The objective of this PKK is to uplift and improve the livelihoods of the villagers and also help to sustain the Tahfidz Orphanage.

Other PKK Beng Tongsong which are running currently are:

1. Gifting of 19 breeding cows, and now there are 33 after giving birth, and selling and buying replacement cows.
2. Planting of Kelapa Harum Manis and Tapioca
3. Upgrading of 2 classrooms of full-time Madrasah
4. Conversion to solar energy to conserve electric energy for Tahfidz Orphanage, and save cost.
5. Installation of water filtration set for clean drinking water in Tahfidz Orphanage, and save cost
6. Monthly financial aid to 10 orphans in the Village Tahfidz Orphanage

In January 2022, Aqrab World launched the PKK-LIVELIHOOD project in Cambodia and expanded it to Semporna, Sabah in January 2024.

These projects aim to provide long-term support and financial assistance to various communities.

• Cattle Breeding
• Duck Rearing
• Production of Salted Fish and Salted Eggs
• Kelapa Harum Manis Planting

Assalamualaikum wr wb

Alhamdulillah. Construction works are going smoothly to build a 2-classroom Madrasah Imarah Botumsakor in Kampung Botumsakor, Kandal, Cambodia.

The construction of this Madrasah by Aqrab World in collaboration with Cambodia Muslim Media Centre (CAMM), will be able to accommodate 120 children. These classes will be conducted for children from fishermen families of new settlements.
Temporarily, these classes are being conducted for only 40 children in a 1-classroom under a Masjid void deck. And unfortunately this classroom is prone to frequent flooding during rainy season.

"Whoever takes a path upon which to obtain knowledge, Allah makes the path to Paradise easy for him." (Hadith Muslim)

“Whoever guides someone to goodness, will have a reward similar to that of the one who performs it.” (Hadith Muslim)

Projek Kemakmuran Kampung (PKK)- LIVELIHOODS

In January 2022, Aqrab World launched the PKK-LIVELIHOOD project in Cambodia and expanded it to Semporna, Sabah in January 2024.

These projects aim to provide long-term support and financial assistance to various communities. Beneficiaries include Villagers, the Poor and Orphans, as well as Asatizahs in various Madrasahs and Tahfiz centers across 5 locations in Cambodia and 1 in Semporna.

Insha'Allah. In 2026, Aqrab World will strive even harder to further develop PKK-LIVELIHOOD projects—specifically 2 in Cambodia and 1 in Semporna, Sabah.

We have adopted this approach for PKK-LIVELIHOOD, empowering communities by providing the necessary foundations and initial resources.

Amongst PKK-LIVELIHOOD projects include:

• Production of Salted Fish and Salted Eggs

Alhamdulillah. With the Ihsan of contributors, Aqrab World managed to dispatch Immediate Aid to Rohingya refugees who have been affected by monsoon rain and landslides.

Immediate Aid that have been dispatched are:

Ihsan Aid - Rohingya Refugees in Cox's Bazaar, Bangladesh

Over one million Rohingya refugees live in highly congested, makeshift camps across the Cox's Bazar district. Fleeing extreme persecution and violence from Myanmar, the stateless population is heavily dependent on humanitarian aid.

Severe monsoons cause deadly landslides, while worsening funding shortages, trafficking, and dangerous sea crossings remain persistent threats. Living conditions in these settlements are defined by several compounding crises, especially heavy rain and flash floods that trigger landslides.

“Whoever saves one life, it is as if he had saved all of mankind.”
(Qur’an 5:32)
