🍪💙 With this blue box, what's Monday blues?

Known for their chunky, gooey cookies made with premium ingredients, Whiskdom has become a beloved local brand that many Singaporeans turn to when they need a little pick-me-up. And what better day than Monday to enjoy one?

We're especially proud because behind Whiskdom is Fiona Loh, founder of Whiskdom and also an NOC alumna. What started as an entrepreneurial idea during COVID-19 has grown into a thriving business loved by thousands today with more than a million cookie sold in just the past five years. Taking the leap from her corporate career to pursue Whiskdom full-time, and transforming a passion project into a recognised homegrown brand is indeed applaudable.

What are you waiting for? Whiskdom has five outlets islandwide; time to treat yourself and your loved ones to a great start to the week!🍪

🚀 From an NOC experience in Shanghai to building a platform used by millions across Asia-Pacific.

co-founders, Joel Leong and Henry Chan, both NOC alumni, saw opportunities where others saw uncertainty. During Joel's time in NOC Shanghai, he witnessed Chinese interns turning down stable corporate careers to join scrappy startups. The energy of China's startup ecosystem reshaped his thinking and showed him that success did not have to follow a traditional route.

The journey was far from smooth. After two failed business models and dwindling savings, their third attempt became ShopBack. Just two hours after launch, a stranger named Edwin made a purchase through the platform. It was a small transaction, but it was the proof they desperately needed that people would use the platform by choice. When cashback was still a foreign concept in Asia, the most common question was simple:"What's the catch?" Patiently earning trust, one customer at a time, became part of their growth playbook.

Today, ShopBack's growth across Southeast Asia and beyond reminds us and fellow aspiring founders: exposure creates possibilities. Sometimes, all it takes is a new environment, a different perspective, and the courage to pursue a third attempt when the first two do not work. 🌏✨

We are proud to spotlight NOC alumnus, Jason Lee, who shared how his NOC journey has shaped his entrepreneurial journey thus far: setting a high bar for him, requiring him to adapt quickly, think on his feet and learn by doing.

The global exposure, network, and real-world experience continue to shape his career and ambitions today, including him being a host to the Still Singaporean podcast and building Majulah Abroad (a community platform that connects Singaporean youths) with NOC alumna, Joanne Hu.

Looking forward to hear more on how these NOC alumni leverage their experiences to build connections, create opportunities, and make an impact both in Singapore and beyond. 🌏

🎓✨ From graduation gowns to founder mode.

This year, some of our NOC and N-House alumni didn’t just graduate with a degree, they graduated with startups already making an impact. 🚀

Meet three ventures founded by NUS Class of 2026 graduates:
🌱 Agrolitik
Bringing precision farming to Southeast Asia through smart sensors and data-driven insights, empowering smallholder farmers to make better decisions and improve sustainability.
🩺 s’up
Turning a common modern-day struggle into innovation. This wearable posture-tech startup is helping users build healthier habits through real-time spinal alignment insights and posture correction.
👃 Scentura
Reimagining customer experiences through scent-based marketing, helping brands create memorable connections that linger long after customers leave.

What makes these stories even more inspiring is that they were shaped through the NOC and N-House journey, where curiosity became ideas, ideas became ventures, and friendships became founding teams. 💡🤝
In a world where many are asking"What's next after graduation?", these founders chose to build the future they want to see.

To our NOC alumni founders:
Thank you for showing that entrepreneurship isn't about waiting for the perfect moment. It's about starting, learning, iterating, and daring to dream bigger. 🔥

Congratulations to Agrolitik, s'up, and Scentura, and to all NOC and N-House graduates from the Class of 2026. We can't wait to see where your entrepreneurial journeys take you next. 🌍🚀
