We are counting down to the Maktaba Books’ 5th Anniversary, and our Silent Reading Book Club is getting more exciting. From stories about identity to imagined worlds, politics to motherhood, and faith to mie ayam, our reading table has everything.

A Sunday well spent with books, friends, and a few friendly strangers. What started as a simple round-table sharing about the books everyone was reading somehow turned into a growing list of book recommendations for many of us. The best kind of plot twist, love it!
