We had the privilege of hosting a group of lovely seniors from THK Active Ageing Centre @ Chong Pang at Chongfu School for this year’s National Day festivities!

The celebration kicked off in the hall where our guests joined the school for some energetic NDP sing-alongs. Next, our Health & Fitness CCA students stepped up as coaches, guiding the seniors through inclusive games like Target Toss, Seated Floorball, and Boccia!

Kudos to our students for bringing so much heart, energy, and warmth to our guests! ❤️

Bringing generations together through the power of sport! 🌟

Our Health & Fitness CCA students had the absolute privilege of hosting the wonderful seniors from St Luke’s ElderCare AAC - Nee Soon East for a special Playdate! Together with our partners from Sport Singapore, our students first took the time to master adapted sports like Seated Floorball, Boccia, and Ladder Toss. They then took on the role of coaches, teaching and guiding the seniors through each game. From fun games to shared laughter, it was a day filled with incredible energy, empathy, and connection. So proud of our student leaders for stepping up and showing what true community spirit looks like. Age is really just a number when it comes to staying active and having fun! 👟❤️

2 weeks ago, our school came alive as we celebrated Racial Harmony Day alongside Mother Tongue Language Fortnight! 🌏✨

From trying intricate henna designs and enjoying traditional snacks to playing nostalgic games like chapteh, five stones, hopscotch and goli, our students experienced the richness of Singapore’s diverse cultures. Through vibrant performances and engaging language activities, they also deepened their appreciation for their Mother Tongue languages.

What a memorable season for our Chongfu Cub Scouts! 🌟

From clinching Third Place at the North Area First Aid Competition in our very first participation, to celebrating 12 Chief Scout’s Award recipients, and receiving the prestigious Frank Cooper Sands Award for our Cub Scout Unit, our Scouts have shown what commitment, teamwork, resilience and service truly look like.

We are especially proud of Aegan, who was selected as a Master of Ceremonies at the Chief Scout’s Award Presentation Ceremony for his outstanding confidence and communication skills.

Every achievement reflects the countless hours of learning, perseverance and growth behind the scenes. Congratulations to all our Cub Scouts and leaders for flying the Chongfu flag high. Here’s to continuing the Scouting journey with courage, kindness and a spirit of adventure! ⚜️
