10 Saturdays of marching drills and memorising formations have led to this very moment! A round of applause and a heartfelt thank you to our Team Nila volunteers who stepped up to represent the Marching Contingent at the National Day Parade 2026 🥳

Our Team Nila volunteers not only helped bring the National Day Parade to life, but they also carried the spirit of Team Nila with every step they took at the National Stadium. Along the way, they picked up new skills, forged lifelong friendships, and traded their weekends for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We're incredibly grateful for their dedication in making NDP 2026 a celebration the nation can be proud of 💜

Ever wondered what it's like to march and stand for long hours during the iconic National Day Parade? 🇸🇬

Since June, these Team Nila volunteers have traded their Saturday sleep-ins for marching drills and perfecting formations, repeating the same routines countless times each day. There may be lots of early mornings, sweat, and sore calves, but they're also learning new skills, building lasting friendships, and creating memories that will stay with them for a lifetime 💯

It takes more than skills in marching to show up and be part of the marching contingent at the National Day Parade (NDP). That’s where the Marching Contingent Commanders David and Shariza come in! ✨

As volunteers gather every Saturday to practise marching drills and rehearse for NDP, David and Shariza keep everyone in sync, teaching drills, calling formations and ensuring no one is a step behind. The new friendships, shared memories and teamwork forged while volunteering make every moment worth it! 💜

Shoutout to all Team Nila volunteers who spent the past weekend investing in themselves through our training programmes 💜

During the previous weekend, we organised a Training Weekend where more than 160 Team Nila volunteers joined us for the CPR+AED Certification Course, Sport Announcers Training, and Volunteer Leaders Interpersonal Skills Workshop. We hope you enjoyed the opportunity to learn new skills, gain valuable knowledge, and connect with fellow volunteers along the way ✨
