It takes a village to raise a child and strong partnerships to build a brighter future.🤝✨

We were honoured to welcome Ms Carmelia Nathen, Director of Protective Service and Vulnerable Persons (PSV), Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF), and her team to Darul Ihsan Orphanage on 10 July 2026. They were hosted by Dr Abdul Qader Al-Aidaroos, CEO of MTFA, together with our management team from both Homes.

Beyond introductions following MSF's recent restructuring, the visit provided an invaluable opportunity to exchange perspectives, understand the evolving needs of children and young persons in residential care, and strengthen our shared commitment to their wellbeing.

Together, we explored how MTFA and MSF can continue working hand in hand to create safer, more nurturing and child-centred environments where every child has the opportunity to heal, grow and thrive. 🏡

Darul Ihsan Orphanage is looking for passionate and committed Social Workers to join our team.

This role is more than casework. It is about walking alongside children and young persons who have experienced trauma, loss, family challenges and difficult life circumstances.

At Darul Ihsan, we are working towards building a more trauma-informed and child-centred Home, where every child is given the opportunity to feel safe, supported, heard and hopeful again.

We were honoured to welcome Celebrity Chef Mel Dean, who spent the evening preparing a delicious nasi liwet for iftar to the children and youth at Darul Ihsan. 🍽️

Sharing a warm meal together made this Ramadhan evening even more meaningful. The girls truly enjoyed the food, the experience, and the kindness behind it. 💚

Thank you Chef Mel Dean for taking the time to cook, connect, and create such a memorable iftar for our home.🌙✨
