🎓✨ At the Youth Leaders Collective (YLC) Run 2 Commencement Ceremony today, we celebrated the journeys of young leaders who turned aspirations into action and made a difference in the communities around them.

Over the past few months, our YLC participants brought ground-up initiatives to life, built meaningful connections and grew as community leaders committed to creating positive change. ❤️

While the programme has concluded, their leadership journeys are just beginning. We look forward to seeing how they continue to lead, empower others and create impact in the community. 🙌

Congratulations to our YLC Run 2 graduates, and thank you to our partners, mentors, families and community stakeholders for being part of the journey. 🚀✨

🏛️ Museum professionals from around the world came to NACLI on 14 May for the International Museum Day Symposium 2026 ✨

One of the highlights? A tour of Our Community Gallery! 🇸🇬❤️

From interactive exhibits to stories of multiculturalism and social cohesion, delegates got a glimpse into Singapore’s community-building journey and the people behind it. 🤝✨

Many also resonated deeply with the gallery’s narratives, reflecting on shared experiences of identity, belonging, and community across different cultures and contexts.

Thank you ICOM Singapore, National Heritage Board and Museum Roundtable for having NACLI as part of this year’s symposium ✨

✨ On 21 May, NACLI welcomed 60 inquisitive students from to Our Community Gallery (OCG)! 🇸🇬

Through interactive exhibits and shared stories, the students explored Singapore’s journey of community-building — learning how people from different backgrounds came together over the years to support one another, overcome challenges and build the strong social cohesion we see today. ❤️🤝

The students also had the opportunity to reflect on the importance of resilience, multiculturalism and the role young people can play in shaping caring and connected communities for the future. 🌱💬

A big thank you to for spending the day with us at OCG! 🫶 We look forward to hosting the next batch of students from River Valley High School in July!

Curious to find out what the students experienced during their visit? We warmly welcome more schools and Institutes of Higher Learning to come onboard our specially curated learning journey at OCG! ✨

On 19 May, we welcomed participants from Civil Service College Singapore's Bridges - a 3-week leadership programme for new middle managers in the Singapore Public Service. 🤝

During their learning visit to Our Community Gallery by the People's Association, participants explored PA’s evolving role in strengthening social cohesion and meeting the changing needs of citizens. ✨

💬 In conversation with PA CED Jimmy Toh, the discussion centred on why community building matters - fostering trust and relationships in an increasingly diverse world. 🌏

Discussions on the transformation of Community Clubs, together with operational perspectives, resonated strongly and offered a valuable bridge between strategy and implementation.

We’re grateful for the meaningful exchange and reflections shared, and look forward to nurturing more people‑centred leadership across the Public Service. 🌱🇸🇬

✨ How do we lead responsibly in a rapidly changing world, while shaping a future that is inclusive and sustainable for generations to come?

On 9 May, our youth leaders explored this through ‘Futures Thinking for the Community’ by Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy. Through the Futures Triangle framework, our youth leaders examined emerging trends, reflected on present challenges, and reimagined possibilities for the future — learning how communities can respond meaningfully to change.

💬 The learning continued in a dialogue with MOS Goh Pei Ming, where our youth leaders reflected on future-ready leadership, staying grounded in their purpose through challenges and moments of growth, and the importance of collaboration with like-minded individuals in turning ideas into meaningful ground-up action.

By connecting futures thinking with community leadership, our youth leaders were encouraged to shape not just the present, but the future of communities around them. 🙌

What does future-ready leadership look like to you? 👇

This Mother’s Day, we invited four mothers from NACLI to share their reflections on the joys, challenges, and experiences of motherhood. Their stories offer a glimpse into the strength and love that shape every mother’s journey. 💬

As one timeless saying goes: “Mothers hold their children’s hands for a while, but their hearts forever.” 💖

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers who nurture, guide, and love with unwavering devotion! 🌷

✨ In a world shaped by AI and constant connectivity, how do we lead with purpose — and tell stories that matter?

As part of the YLC Equip Masterclasses, our youth leaders explored both.

We began with ‘Active Citizenry in the Age of Generative AI’ by Professor Dan Schnur from , unpacking how civic participation is evolving and what it takes to lead responsibly in a digital world.

💬 Expanding on this foundation of active citizenry, ‘Building Your Public Narratives’ by ’s Associate Professor Chng Huang Hoon and Dr Toh Tai Chong helped participants craft their Story of Self, Us, and Now — turning values into stories that inspire action.

🚣‍♂️ In the afternoon, these lessons came to life at PassionWave @ Marina Bay where participants applied what they learnt through a dragonboat session — strengthening teamwork, trust, and resilience with every stroke.

From reflection to action, our youth leaders gained tools to lead with intention and communicate with purpose.

How can we tell stories that mobilise change? 👇
