✨ CCA Glow Moments | Creativity 🤝 Grit ✨

Different arenas. Different talents. One Greendale spirit. 💚

Parents, here’s another reason to be proud of our Greendale students — and if you spot your child’s name below, this Glow Moment is especially yours to celebrate! 👏

Whether their passion lies in digital storytelling, sport, the arts or another CCA, we celebrate the commitment our students show when they pursue their interests, work as a team and keep striving to improve. Our latest CCA achievements are wonderful examples of that growth beyond the classroom.

We look forward to share more of the Greendale Experience with you at our upcoming Open House on Saturday, 14 November, 9am-1pm (No registration required). 👀✨

✨ Katapella 2026 | Finding Their Voices, Growing in Confidence ✨

18 students. Four months of preparation. One memorable journey. 🎤💚

In Greendale’s first-ever participation in the Katapella national competition, our students emerged among the top 6 finalists from 40 participating schools!

Through choral recitation that brings together Malay language, culture and creative expression, our students developed greater confidence in speaking the language while deepening their appreciation of Malay language and culture. Just as importantly, the journey taught them resilience, collaboration and the joy of growing together.

For parents, this is one example of how Mother Tongue learning at Greendale can extend beyond the classroom — creating positive experiences that help students use the language with greater confidence, connect with their culture and make meaningful memories along the way.

And for parents of prospective Secondary 1 students wondering what learning and growing at Greendale could look like… perhaps you’ll get a glimpse of it very soon. 👀💚

For now, there’s one more Katapella moment to look forward to!

📺 Catch our Greendale performers on national television — Suria, Friday, 21 August at 8.30pm!

Grow in language. Glow with confidence. ✨

Celebrating the colours, cultures and connections that make us one. 💚

Did you know? Racial Harmony Day is commemorated every year on 21 July to remind us of the importance of safeguarding the racial and religious harmony that Singapore enjoys today.

Today, our Greendale family came together to celebrate this special occasion through traditional attire, interactive activities and shared experiences. From learning about one another's cultures to creating joyful memories together, every moment reminded us that our diversity is our strength.

Here's to embracing our differences, building friendships across cultures and fostering a community where everyone belongs.

Different cultures. Shared values. One Greendale.

🌏 Happy Racial Harmony Day!

✨ Learning Beyond the Classroom ✨

Coffee brewing. ☕
First aid. ⛑️
Culinary creations. 👨‍🍳
Perfume making. 🌸
Watch making. ⌚
AI film making. 🎬

Just another Term 3 Week 3 at Greendale!

Our Secondary 2 students recently wrapped up their Applied Learning Module (ApLM), stepping beyond the classroom to explore new skills, discover hidden talents, and experience learning in authentic, hands-on settings.

Now into its fourth year, ApLM continues to grow through the close collaboration of our school community, with exciting new modules introduced this year, including Watch Making, Umbrella Making, and AI Film Making.

But the learning doesn't stop there. Through CCE (Education and Career Guidance) lessons before and after ApLM, students reflected on their experiences, connected their interests and strengths to future pathways, and considered how today's experiences could spark tomorrow's careers.

Because sometimes, finding your future starts with trying something new.

💚 Parents of our Secondary 2 students, we'd love for the learning to continue at home. Ask your child:

Which module did you particpate in?
What surprised you about the experience?
Could you see yourself pursuing something like this in the future?

You might be surprised by what they discovered about themselves.

Grow. Glow. Explore. ✨

🎉 Happy Youth Day! 🎉
As we celebrate Youth Day, we're taking a look back at last Friday's Games Carnival—a vibrant school-wide celebration planned by our Physical Education Department and made possible through the support of staff, student leaders, CCAs, and the entire Greendale community.

From pushball to frisbee, volleyball to futsal, dodgeball, and fringe activities, there was something for everyone. Whether competing, cheering, officiating, or lending a helping hand, every student played a part in making the day a success.
And if there was one highlight that had everyone laughing and cheering, it was the novelty races! From our CCAs battling it out in good fun to the ever-popular teachers' race, the carnival was filled with unforgettable moments that brought our school together.

Beyond the games, the day was a celebration of what Youth Day is all about—teamwork, resilience, friendship, and the joy of learning and growing together.

To all our students (and staff!), thank you for your enthusiasm, sportsmanship, and school spirit. May you continue to embrace challenges, support one another, and make the most of every opportunity that comes your way.
Happy Youth Day! 💚
