Big congrats to TRaX Award recipient ASP Hui Ting!👏🏼

What started as an initial hesitation turned into a true passion for anchoring the SPS's coaching culture. 🤝🏼💙

As a senior trainer with the Singapore Prison Training Institute, she uses "global listening" to read the room, guides trainees through cutting-edge VR simulations, and supports them through their most vulnerable training moments.

While technology continues to enhance the training experience, her focus remains on the people and building deep connections with her trainees. 🫶🏼

SPS recently partnered with the Singapore After-Care Association (SACA) and Wearnes Harley-Davidson Singapore to launch "Throttle Through Time", a t-shirt design contest. Inmates were invited to design original artwork embodying the spirit of Harley-Davidson through iconic Singapore landmarks.

For "Faiz", his winning entry included Singapore's Former City Hall Building - a landmark he wanted to feature based on its significance to Singapore's independence.

The winning designs were selected for their creativity, originality, and commercial value, and are ultimately being considered for Harley-Davidson T-shirt merchandise in 2027.

SPS was proud to host the MHA-MPS Annual Sports Exchange 2026, welcoming our counterparts from the Ministry of Public Security, Vietnam, to our facilities here in Singapore.

On the pickleball court, Permanent Secretary (Home Affairs) Mr Tan Chye Hee and Commissioner of Prisons Mr Matthew Wee Yik Keong partnered up for a doubles match against Vietnam's Senior Lieutenant General and Deputy Minister of Public Security Mr Le Van Tuyen and Mr Bui Van Tuan from Vietnam's Department of Party and Political Works.

Both sides also took aim at the shooting range and teed off on the golf course, rounding out a day of friendly competition and genuine camaraderie.

Beyond the scoreboard, these exchanges were also about building trust, strengthening partnerships, and reinforcing our shared commitment to safety and security across the region.

Here's to many more!

Drawing from his past experience as a football referee, he knows that how you communicate matters, just as much as what you say.💪🏻 Whether he's helping visitors navigate regulations or supporting his teammates through difficult situations, he leads with compassion.✨

Recently, he was recognised with the MHA Star Service Award — an honour he humbly attributes to his entire team.👏🏻 Show him some support in the comments!💙
