Gardens by the Bay Gardens by the Bay is a horticulture-themed leisure destination in the heart of the city that brings a world of plants to Singapore.

Opened in June 2012, Gardens by the Bay offers visitors a vibrant horticultural oasis of lush greenery and floral displays. Enter the Flower Dome and be inspired by thousands of magnificent flowers and plants from the Mediterranean and semi-arid subtropical regions in this cooled conservatory. Get awe-inspired by the botanical wonders of the tropical highlands in the Cloud Forest, where a spectacu

lar waterfall and mountain cloaked in vegetation await you. Walk along the 22-metre high OCBC Skyway suspended from the iconic Supertrees, and admire the most ravishing scenic views of Marina Bay and Singapore’s Skyline. These Supertrees not only provide shade and shelter during the day, but also have environmentally sustainable functions. As night falls, catch the dazzling display of light and sound in the OCBC Garden Rhapsody amidst these impressive Supertrees to end your day with a wonderful note. Operating hours:

📢 Heading to the Gardens by the Bay and Mediacorp National Day Concert 2026? Here's what you need to know!

The countdown is on: Sunday, 2 August, from 4.30pm at The Meadow, Gardens by the Bay. Before you head down, here are a few important things to note:

🚗 GETTING HERE
• Bayfront Plaza carpark will be closed from 5:00pm onwards on 2 Aug 2026.
• Visitors are strongly encouraged to take public transport to the Gardens.
• Drop-off/pick-up point (including taxi / private Hire): Main Entrance and The Meadow Carpark
• Nearest MRT stations: Bayfront (CE1/DT16) and Gardens by the Bay (TE22)

🎫 ENTRY INFORMATION
• There will be 3 entry points to the concert grounds.
• Security bag checks will be conducted at all entry points prior to admission. To help ensure a smooth entry, we strongly encourage visitors to refrain from bringing bulky/big bags, and picnic furniture such as tables and chairs.
• Admission is free!

🌦️ WEATHER ADVISORY
• Activities will continue in the event of light rain, so do bring along your umbrellas and ponchos. Follow our Telegram channel for the latest updates!

– The Malayan monitor lizard has been around for so long, it's one of the OGs of Singaporean wildlife — and not interested in you. This large reptile may look intimidating, but it's actually a shy introvert that's more keen in hunting fish, insects and the occasional frog. The next time you spot one, give it some space. It probably just wants to enjoy its lunch by the water in peace, and your panicking is hurting its feelings. 😅🦎

Gardens by the Bay and Mediacorp are bringing you the National Day Concert 2026, live at The Meadow on 2 August!

✨ Sing along with Hady Mirza, Rahimah Rahim, Benjamin Kheng, Olivia Ong, Sherman Zhuo, Sharon Shobana and Mazhai, hosted by Saravanan Ayyavoo, Germaine Tan and Fadli Kamsani.

Here's what's in store for the whole family:

🕟 4.30pm — Gates open! Enjoy free ice cream, candy floss and popcorn (while stocks last), plus SG-themed carnival games and Community Partners' booths by NTUC Club, SAFRA and the People's Association.

🎤 5.00pm — Pre-show performances by Urban Drum Crew, Shak, Sharon Shobana, Sherman Zhuo and Rahila Rashun.

🎶 7.45pm — The main concert begins!

🎆 End the night with a breathtaking fireworks display lighting up the sky over The Meadow as we celebrate Singapore's 61st National Day.

Over seven weeks, we welcomed close to 250 enthusiastic nature lovers across three guided tours — Urban Wetlands, Energy & Water, and the Urban Biodiversity Walk — exploring sustainability and biodiversity in the heart of the city.

Thank you to everyone who joined us on this green journey. While Go Green SG 2026 has ended, our Nature and Sustainability tours continue on weekends. We look forward to seeing you at the Gardens!
