A beautiful fleeting moment of light at dusk.
The beautiful scenery of the Shiretoko Peninsula stretches out before us once again, changing its appearance with the seasons and the time of day.
Recently, Rausu town has gradually begun to feel more like summer.
Temperatures reach around 25°C at their highest, while mornings and evenings are around 16°C.
Perhaps because it was actually quite chilly until the beginning of August, the current temperatures feel surprisingly hot—although this may vary from person to person.
We hope that all of you are enjoying the summer season in Hokkaido.

Check out the beautiful hydrangeas blooming at Sengen Park, located in the center of the Noboribetsu Onsen area.
The flowers are in shades of blue, white and pink, creating a beautiful blend of colours unlike we have seen before.
The color of hydrangeas is influenced not only by the acidity of the soil, but also by factors such as sunlight and moisture.
Do take the time to check out the hydrangeas when you are around Noboribetsu!
